The hotel is very good, the room was clean and comfortable. They would not serve breakfast as there weren't enough guests, had to go out in the morning to have a cup of tea. The room had a kettle, we made ourselves tea, the tea was not replenished the next day and the cup still there used until we left.... More

It's a 3 star Hotel but the Location is good; Breakfast is excellent carries both western & Asian food. The service is excellent as well as staffs in the front desk are perfect in many languages. Prompt service in 3,5 minutes when the bathroom had problem. Courteous, accuracy & quick services are the prime scores that this hotel deserves. When... More

Nice hotel, conveniently located within walking distance to the historical areas of Lhasa. Nice clean lobby, spacious rooms. Quiet area. Good breakfast selection. Free wifi, but only worked at the lobby and corridors. English speaking staff, friendly service.

The best thing about this hotel is its situation close to tourist sites and shops. The room was clean, the carpet had been shampood and was still wet. There was heating but it was still cold at night. There was a hairdryer and kettle but no fridge and the room was shabby, the handles had fallen of the drawers and... More

[+ positives, - negatives] Our Room: level 3, views to the hotel courtyard + Clean, spacious + TV, desk, kettle, fridge + Wifi is free and works well within the room (1-2 bars) - No heater, even in winter (we had to request a portable one) - Beds are hard - Shower system is slightly complicated, but figured out with... Really great location, and the rooms were warm and clean, but we all would have preferred a more Tibetan (and less Chinese) style hotel. Breakfasts were very ordinary, and the staff weren't friendly or helpful. A bit unprofessional really. We were originally booked into Rama Kharpo Guesthouse, but this was changed at the last moment by our tour company.

The hotel is located right next to Busy bakhor area. travelers would need to cross zip zag street to reach the out to the Bakhor. you can either choose to walk to tourist street where you would find a great number of restaurant and shops. But some room are parallel to the Tibetan family house near by. your view are... More

Our tour guide booked this hotel for us, we did not choose it ourselves. Overall, the best part about this hotel is the location (close to the old town in Lhasa). However, the staff at the front desk were not helpful, nor were they friendly. Sometimes they was not even staff at the front desk. The rooms were also not... More

We were meant to stay in the Tashitakge but our tour operator screwed it up despite 180 emails over 18 months and put us here 2 weeks before we were due to leave the UK. We were a mixed group of 6 that wanted a small friendly hotel and this was not it. The hotel is mobbed with Chinese tour... More
