The Egret hotel is in a fantastic location, only a short walk from the amazing Confucius Temple, many great restaurants, shops and markets. At night the lanterns light up the street for a beautiful atmosphere. The reception staff were friendly, and spoke enough English for a smooth check in and out. We spent a night here, to rest and take a bus the following day. Our room wasn't so comfortable, furnitures are old, they give a feeling of dirty. But service was very good, they helped us for all the information we need. They speak a basic english.

Stayed here for 2 nights with a school group. Good, clean and cheap accommodation. Although language is a bit of a barrier, I found the staff to be more that helpful - sign language is very useful.
