Overall a good hotel. It is in a great location close walking distance to historic sites. Rooms on some floors have been renovated, our sons room was newer and quite pleasant. However our 5th floor room was older, had some mold issues on the shower curtain, shower mat and toilet base. Beds are comfy and we were well rested overnight.... More

In Nanjing, the following tourist sites tell the stories of the city’s past and present: The Confucius Temple, Ming City Walls, Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum, Memorial Hall of Victims in Nanjing Massacre, and the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge. We liked the location of this hotel, and we had an excellent check-in experience. We were on the higher floors, and room quality... More

I spent here just one night and could not try the hotel breakfast since I had to leave before 6am to catch my flight from Lukou airport. The hotel location is quite convenient with several local restaurants within walking distance. I tried one just across the street. My hotel room was very spacious, almost luxurious and could easily accommodate 2... More

First don't expect a 5 star American style hotel, they clearly use a different system there. For the price and location, this is a decent hotel. The hotel is still being renovated so try to get a renovated room. The older rooms are mostly clean but it's definitely old. This place is used a lot for banquets and such so... More

I booked this hotel mainly because of the location, it is centrally located and accessible by taxi/foot to many tourist spots. Opposite the hotel has 2 big malls with a huge variety of food options and shopping. Check in was prompt and when we had problems using the wifi in the room, the manager sent the technician up immediately. The... More

This is one of the few 5-star rated hotels in Nanjing, and probably run by a local company. Although it has greatly improved over the years it still has problems relate to water drainage and water sewer smell-appears as a common issue in China- Rooms are clean, but with problems with water drainage. Bathrooms smell damp with stale water smell.... More

If you are looking for a hotel that is located in an area that can be explored by foot, this is the hotel to stay in nanjing. It is centrally located in Old Nanjing only walking distance from the Confuscious Temple area and the Zhonghua Gate of the Nanjing City Wall. Many restaurants nearby eaither in the old town area... I have spent here three nights in October. As you can see from previous reviews opinions are diverging. The reason is that there are huge differences in the room quality. Refurbished and higher quality rooms are excellent and provide good service. Some other rooms are in a poor condition. At arrival I have changed my room and with this I... More

The public areas of this hotel are great, big foyer, nice pond with fish and a piano (!!). The bedroom was a little tired with old furniture but the big plus was we had a room at the front which was perfect for people watching. The area outside the hotel was good for shopping, street food and the Confucious Temple,... More

We stayed here for two nights. Very big hotel in a central position but rooms with old furniture. Breakfast it's primary Chinese, not continental. Staff don't speak English except fore someone but it's very friendly.
