The location is great - across the street from the MTR, a short walk to buses and trams to take you to CWB, Kowloon, and beyond, walking distance to all the nightlife in Central/Sheung Wan, great selection of restaurants within a 5-minute walk. Can't complain. The staff was friendly, check-in/out was simple and painless. The rooms are small and all... More

The location is fine and I paid HK$500 for each night but I din't expect it to be so bad! First when I check in it was a room without window with really bad smell so I changed to another room, same layout no window but no smell however with moles on the wall. The room was tiny like the... More

I booked the room for business use for a skype conference only. Stayed at 1104 room. When i go in the room, i like the master lighting system and the design is bright. However, housekeeping is not working and the desk is dirty. It was horrible that there are coffee marks on table and nobody to clean. Informed Front Desk... More

Oppressive, creepy, undead and I don't just mean the "Service" Even if you are booking just for a few hours "fun" this place is just gruesome. Depressing in every way. Go elsewhere "because you're worth it"

Regarding the size of the room, the title does not reflet the reality, which is even worse. But it seems due to the fact we are in Hong Kong and HD Island. But for sleeping it is good enough. As a conclusion, a double bed in a 10 square meter room and a bathroom with shower for 100€/day... Nevertheless, the... More

Air conditioning not working properly, water coming out and making wierd noise. Everything else are ok. Not a good room if you travel with large luggage. Comes with dental kit, comb, shaving kit, cotton bud, shower cap, soap, shampoo n a lot more...very convenience..

I've been in Hong Kong for a few days, it was a pause in the middle of a business trip. I booked this hotel because for the position, but for the services recived I was not real happy. the rooms are so small, and sometimes ther was a pesky stink.

Haven't stayed here in about three years, and while it used to be my go to for staying in Hong Kong while doing errands, I can say it's not the charming bargain it used to be. Odd smell in lobby--think fish sauce mixed with air freshener-- and staff that do the job but without any evidence of personality or enthusiasm.... More

Not so much to add to the other reviews. Location close to Sheung Wan MTR is good, also close to Soho, LKF, IFC mall, Ferry terminal, etc. But the rooms are way to small, even for HK standard. My single bed room was not so much bigger as the bed itself. Hardly any space to move, definitely no space for... More

Yes the staff are dour and the rooms are small, but what you get is a clean place to crash that is right next to a MTR station that is one stop from Central for a great price I especially like the narrow room with a small window because when i close the bathroom door I can make the room... More

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighborhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
