I stayed 2 nights during NYE at this hotel. Price is equal to budget hostel but room is just bigger. Room and toilet was clean. Nice quiet room. The location is ideal, Hotel is in between Causeway Bay MTR station and Wanchai MTR station. (walk a bit further for Wanchai) and closed to Airport Bus stop. Easy walk down to... More

Me and my brother and mum stayed there at the Walden hotel and it was horrendous. There was some kind of wet spot as you enter the room and that was a water leak and the whole floor was wet .There was certainly not what the pictures looked like and we only stayed for 2 days because it was a stopover... I found this hotel Indian travel portal and trust me as per the price hotel is too good. MTR Causway Bay is just 10mints walk, tram, bus and taxi is just outside the hotel. Good WIFI, almost all needed room amenities in the room. Room size is also very good. Must recommended if you are traveling with friends, solo or... More

Best thing about this hotel is the location, short walk from Times Square and Causeway Bay MTR. Room size was ok for Hong Kong, but room badly needed painting and new carpets, wifi was free but don't bother as it was so slow it was useless, better off buying a Hong Kong discovery SIM card from 7/11 for HKD 88... The hotel is very conveniently located on the A11 (city flyer route) so you can get of the bus and within a 100 meter walk you are at the hotel. It is about a 10 minute walk from the CWB MTR station (if you have less luggage). The reception staff was very welcoming and checkin was easy. unlike other places... More

It's situated perfectly in between the MTR stations Causeway Bay and Wan Chai, so it's a bit to walk from either of them. But it's still in a central good location. Rooms were alright, you should expect what you're getting in Hong Kong. Could perhaps have been a bit cheaper for what you got. Room was however very clean and... More

Recently my wife and I stayed a week at this hotel, and this was the second time I have stayed there. I have used this hotel twice purely based on location – it is right next to where our family and friends live in HK. The hotel is located in Hennessy Rd in Wanchai, and has great transport access being... More

KFC, McDonald nearby. shopping good. 7-11 good experience. eatries nearby. no restaurant in the hotel. rooms are very small. very few english channels in... More

Located right aling the tram line 2 blocks from Causeway Bay station, the Walden has reasonable sized rooms at a great price. No restaurants or fitness centre, but lots of dining options just at the doorstep, and a short tram ride away from Admiralty and Central. Bring your own toiletries, though

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
