Location great and if we were charged $30 can I wouldn't expect anything better but for $100 can it was simply a bed with walls,so tiny we could barely turn around. The bathroom floor was continually wet with the shower head dripping non stop. Facing Cameron and so noisy, it was only tolerable for a brief time around 4 am.... More

I agree with many of the positive comments here, yet I moved as soon as I could, after two days--to the nearby Hop Inn, which I found much more congenial. Positives: Star Guest is certainly safe and secure and has good wi-fi. The corridors and rooms, however, are very confining--sort of an upscale prison cell. In my room, also, the... More

It was a safe and convenient stay. The staff were friendly and they store you baggage for free. The room is small but clean as most HK hotels and guest houses at this price are. The warm water was limited each time and you need to take a bath fast before the water could turn cold. Wifi was fast and... More

We stayed in star guesthouse for two nights. We booked a double room which was small but comfortable, warm & clean and also had good wifi access. We had a shared shower bathroom which was fine & the location was great for exploring HK. The staff were very friendly & helpful in any dealings we had with them.

***The STAR GUEST HOUSE is a BUDGET GUEST HOUSE. It is their policy that they only receive CASH BASIS IN HK CURRENCY upon check-in. NOTE: There is a HK$100 deposit for the keys which is refundable upon check-out.*** LOCATION- Excellent! From the Airport, take Airport Bus (A21 Bus, which is HK$33 per person as of time of travel date.) Bus... More

If you compare the services of other Guesthouses,This place (Star Guesthouse) is Terrible! In terms of being unfriendly to guests...the manager/owner is not easy to converse with and not open to inquiry. Compare the prices of other Guesthouses in Tsim Sha Tsui, especially in areas like Chungking mansions is a lot cheaper and just the same amenities. It's more practical to... More

We have investigated on this matter, according to one of our managers, the writer of this review is a Filipino. We asked him to pay on time, however he insisted to pay after checking out. This is against our policy. I would recommend the writer to follow the policy on payments wherever he would be as a role of a... More

Star Guesthouse is an ok place to stay. Small beds and rooms but if you need a budget place to sleep for a few nights then it is perferctly acceptable. The location is easy to find - just off Nathan Road. If your window faces the front it can be noisy as there are clubs on that street that make... More

Very nice, clean and cozy... a bit pricey but maybe because its in the city. Not bad, safe and clean. They clean up everyday, just not sure if they changed my beddings..stayed here for a week! Its very near shops, malls and a few blocks from the mtr. Staff are nice and friendly.
