It is horrible hotel, service is bad, the front desk people is part time unprofessional employee. No room needs to wait until 1500.... no even check whether there is any available rooms. No help to customers at all. Swim pool closed down... Hotel doesn't want to share wifi password...they do provide wifi but they do not want to share the... More

Further away from most things than first looked. Was hard to find as is up a hill and around the corner, so is diagonally opposite the other large hotels entrance. Was hard to lug bags up to it when not sure where going. Can get off the train shuttle bus 4 at the Empire hotel stop. Bed was very hard,... More

Hong Kong is a destination where lots of walking are expected so a hotel that is nearer to the MTR is always preferred. The hotel is located on high ground and lagging your luggage can be quite a feast. The room is small, clean and brightly lighted. but the walls are really thin and the noise of room doors closing... Don’t be put off by the fact that when you come through the door there is no reception desk. There will be a security person (if he’s not off doing his rounds) and you use the lift to go up to reception. The room was small but bearable, the beds very hard. There was a fridge, air conditioner, TV, kettle,... More

We stayed at this hotel via a Priceline Express Deal purchase and likely stayed in the same room as a previous poster. The location had pro's and con's. It's relatively short walk to buses and to the Jordan or Tsim Tsa Tsui MTR stations. However, it is on a hill near the Hong Kong Observatory so if you take public... More

This was sold by Priceline as a 3* room, and that was plainly misleading. This is not and cannot be considered as 3 stars. With the (lots of) chipped paint on the walls, the dew spots on the ceiling, the furniture that looked like it was made of leftover wood found dumped on the street and was covered by cigarette... Pleasant experience. Easy Check in/out. Ample room for myself for a few nights. Shower and toilet area clean, Hot Cold and water works, rooms are taken care of not much to complain about the pics are accurate. Its HK as you know size is cramped but functional. Beds hard like many but I have no problems with that. This place... More

I have no idea where some of these pictures come from - that certainly is not the entrance with a pretty lighted sign overhead. Nevertheless, though old and beaten up in some places as well as slightly noisy if activity above, it's clean and quite convenient - refrigerator in room and grocery store around corner, popular bars and restaurants on...
