Be aware that I was asked for a $500hk for deposit for key and room amenities. Stayed in this Hotel for six nights and found it to be a safe and a clean hotel. The location to the subway service is excellent with about a 2min walk. Easy walk to Temple street night markets which is where you can get... More

Check-in/Check-out: Fast and efficient. They require a credit card deposit. Lobby: Clean, nice rose smell. Room: Very small. Walk 3 steps from the door and you will reach the bed. No proper cupboard. Not much space for you to open up your luggage. Toilet: Even smaller. Seems like the sink is even smaller than my face. :P Has a glass... More

We just had one-night stay in this hotel before moving to another hotel on the next day. It was a very tiny double-bed room, but the room was clean & equipped with basic amenity (TV, hair dryer, air-conditioner, etc). Same as other budget hotels in Hong Kong, the bed was super-single size & not a king or queen-size bed. The... More

Overall our stay in BTH Yau Ma Tei was quite good, The room is tiny but clean, Air Conditioner perfect, Very near to Yau Ma Tei MTR station. The only thing lacking is the bathroom is to small for me to move.

The room we stayed in was very small. There were two single beds squished in a tiny tiny room. If you open your luggages on the floor, you wouldn't have any more space to walk around the room. The bathroom and shower room was also very small. The rooms may be small but at the very least, it was clean.... More

The room was actually smaller than expected but based on HK pricing, it was ok. Heater was fine since we were there during the cooler time. They provided enough complimentary stuff. We didn't get wifi in the room just in their restaurant. Elevator was really small too. They had hot water which was OK. Staff was not that good since... More

This should be called a capsule room hotel. There is literally no space in the room. I read the reviews, however the room will be smaller then what you expect, trust me. The breakfast is ok, the price for Hong Kong is ok as well. Very clean and trendy, however the staff is not flexible and overall not a great... More

I noticed another reviewer says this is the worst hotel in Hong Kong. Trust me - it's not, but is really a mix of good and bad. My first impressions were negative - very slow check in (one person only), hardly bearable as I'd been awake for almost two days and hanging out for a shower. The room on Level... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighborhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighborhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighborhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
