I am returning visitor to this hotel. I like the Wellington area and use either Lan Kwai Fong or Butterfly depending on the price and availability. Lan Kwai Fong is a simple hotel, rooms are small but enough for short business stay. Hotel has Michellin starred restaurant, worth trying in the evening, breakfast is also ok although I prefer coffee... More

The location is very good good in central but no restaurant, no lobby, no nothing. The room was small but good, clean wise it's ok. I will go there again for the location coz its conveniate for me and I won't be looking for something, as sometimes my favorite hotel in hong kong is fully booked.

Like to stay here because it is perfectly located downtown Central. Beautiful rooms (Deluxe Harbour View) but service is not very convincing. Unfortunately there is no longer any service in the open lounge Breeze. They offer water and coffee for free but you cannot get anything else. There is no service there anymore what is really a pitty. Restaurant Celebrity... More

We always stay at the Lan Kwai Fong hotel when we come across to Hong Kong. It is fairly priced unless you hit it on a holiday or peak period. Rooms are clean but kind of small normal for HK. Best location for Soho dining and partying...this is the best part and close to MTR so getting around HK is... More

We stayed at Lang Kwai Fong Hotel for 2 nights ( 3 to 5 august) and we liked it very much, our room was not very big (normal in Hong Kong) but clean and confortable with a nice view on the city. We were 3 girl friends, we stopped over in Hong Kong before going to Bali. We had a... More

I stayed here in business for 2 weeks during August. The room I had was a harbour view which meant you could just about see the harbour through the other buildings, so don't pay extra for this and expect a great view. If you want views though don't sit in the hotel. Go outand see it! The bed was comfortable... More

The service at this hotel is fine. The rooms are cleaned each day and have great views of the city. The rooms, however, are really tiny and the bathroom is not detached in a way that makes it private if you are there with someone at the same time. In the two rooms adjacent to my own, there were men... More

The Lan Kwai Fong Hotel is a pleasant place to stay. The room was clean and looked very nice. A bowl of tasty fresh fruit was provided on the table. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Lan Kwai Fong hotel is well situated, a short walk from the MTR line at Sheung Wan, 1 mins walk from the restaurants of Lan Kwai Fong and a short HKD$30 taxi ride from Hong Kong station. Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighborhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
