This place is in the heart of Hong Kong, within walking distance to everything that Hong Kong has to offer. The MTR station is right across the street underneath Times Square. Whether you want to shop, eat or bet the ponies no car is necessary. The staff is friendly, the rooms are nicely appointed however a bit smaller than a... More

We stayed there for a week recently and were very pleased with the hotel. The location is perfect, opposite Times Square with dining options, or within walking distance to other centres. Nearby also were Chinese food markets and shops, which give a look at how the locals live. Our room had a queen bed, couch, desk and chair, flat screen... More

Free internet, way bigger room than HK standard, and boy, the location can't be beat. It's right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of HK island. You don't have to take public transportation much if you want to be in downtown HK, walkable distance to many famous places, except Tsim Tsa Tsui of course, but the train... More

This is our second stay in a Holiday Inn Express in HK and we were not disappointed. What can I say about this hotel except location, location, location?!! Easy to get to from the airport via Airport Express to HK Station and then MTR to Causeway Bay, although its a bit of a walk from the MTR station when you... More

I always stay in this hotel whenever I came to HK. The room is small but decent judging from HK standard. Clean, no view, old style TV, but its all perfect for shoppers and business traveler, as we dont stay too long in the room anyway. Location is Perfect, walking distance to MTR (even a bit far), near to Times... More

It's located right behind Lane Crawford/Time Square. Location-wise, it's as good as it gets as you don't have to walk too far outside in the sweltering heat. No real frills, but the price reflects that. I'd return in a heart beat. Causeway Bay is a nice neighbourhood for those looking to shop and dine. It's close enough to major attractions... More

The hotel is definitely very central, right beside Times Square. The rooms were pretty basic, small, nothing fancy or worth raving about. The breakfast was very disappointing looking at the price i paid per night. i usually come to HK for Conference waking up early makes it is very hard to find breakfast place nearby that open very early in... I have stayed there for 3 weeks in Jan'15 travelled for business meetings, the rooms are good, value for money, near to MTR (Metro) & renowned Times square is just adjacent, shopping freak area, convenient w.r.t. connectivity to other locations by Taxi, metro, Breakfast was good, but it is fixed. Overall good experience!

Hotel has an excellent location, right behide the Time Square and in the heart of Causeway Bay. Good for shopping. Room is not large and dark because there is window. However, there is an ironing room for self service. It is quite convinient, especially for business trip.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
