This was a little gem of a hotel. I really loved my room - quite quirky with a great in the heart of the city combined with green hills sneaking through view. The room was a little cold but they gave me an extra duvet which made it super snug. There are electric heaters supplied in the room too just... More

This is my second stay at this hotel and really love the simple elegant layout. Comfortable bed with decent sized bathrooms. It's spacious compared to a few HK hotels of the same value. Overall well worth the price and size. If you ever want to visit HK, this is the place to stay.

The taxi driver had a bit difficulty to find the address. If you mention the Indonesian Consulate I guess they will find it much easier to find. The hotel itself is across the Indonesian consulate and is only 5 minutes walking to the shopping center of Hong kong causway bay. The room is small but completely equipped with everything you... First off, the location is accessible as it is in Causeway Bay, just a short walk from Exit F of the MTR station. The service is good, from reception to concierge to housekeeping. They anticipate your needs and do not discriminate. I stayed in the deluxe queen room that was bigger than I expected. The interiors are clean and tastefully... More

Had a business trip to HK and wanted to stay at a different place than the usual one. After searching, we selected Lanson. Excellent location with shopping and dining options. The hotel staff was polite and helpful. Got an upgrade and I loved all the windows in this room. Been to many hotels, and I have to say this hotel... More

This place is offers a service that most travellers would like. Nice, clean, elegant rooms that cater for the well heeled traveller or business person alike. The room are comfortable and with the square footage in HK being a premium, its uses the space exceptionally well and allows for ample storage and space to relax. I travelled with my wife... More

It's a very nice hotel but too compact , even its location is not the easiest for taxis as its at a small junction corner, they don't have a driveway nor lobby so you will have to rely on their bell service staff to assist you with luggage etc. Check in process was ok but curt as there were only... We got upgraded to a king room because we checked in late at 8pm and the room was absolutely stunning in terms of design and furnishing. Simple, white, clean and very comfortable. Electronic curtains, a well spaced bathroom (no bathtubs), nice mattress and sheets. Located in a popular foodie area this hotel is right next to hot ice cream dessert... More

I visited Hong Kong with my mother and sister for a "girls trip". We arrived in Hong Kong at 7 am and decided to drop off our luggage at the hotel. Check in wasn't until 3 pm. We decided to just have breakfast at the hotel since we were too exhausted to try and find somewhere to have breakfast. As... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
