Converted from an old colonial building with huge columns, Lanson Place Hotel reminded me of Fullerton Hotel in Singapore. The styling is similar, right down to the shoe bag used to keep the bedroom sleepers. In terms of size, Lanson was definitely smaller, as it brands itself a a boutique hotel, and much cozier too. Located on the ground floor... More

It was our first time to stay at Causeway Bay area, we're glad we tried. Lanson Place is a very nice hotel. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean with complimentary snacks, the bed was very soft- better than many hotels in HK. The only inconvenience was It's not very easy to get a cab. And we asked... More

If you're in Hong Kong for business, this is a great alternative to the large chain hotels. Friendly staff, good rooms and a top location in Causeway Bay. A great innovation is the Handy phone - a free mobile phone provided by the hotel to use while in HK with free international calls and wireless hotspot for your own phone... More

Only stayed a night so can only comment based on just a brief stay. My husband, daughter and I just love the bed and pillows. Probably the best I've ever experienced in a hotel. They even offer guests a pillow menu for those who have specific preferences for pillow fillings. We also love the rain shower. Conveniently located amongst eateries... More

When I had to choose where to stay for my stint in HK, I immediately chose Lanson Place having stayed there for a short business trip and knowing that I will be in good hands. Indeed, I spent 5 months in this wonderful establishment in a nice and not so busy part of Causeway Bay. Thank you Lanson Place especially... More

My husband and I stayed here at the end of May for 4 nights as a stopover in Hong Kong after our three week Europe trip. The service at this hotel is impeccable! Everyone at the hotel (from concierge to reception to housekeeping) were friendly, helpful and polite. We arrived very early on the Friday morning and as soon as... More

Stayed at lanson HK for 3 nights. The room is surprisingly big for the price (For HK size), nicely designed with good layouts and lightings. MRT is 5 mins walk while buses and tram are with similar distance. Located in causeway bay means food is aplenty too. Getting taxi could be challenging though, in the morning especially, but concierge team... More

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of May. The room was very comfortable with a small kitchenette, separate bathroom and a sofa. We liked the free snack bar with juice, chocolate and biscuits. The breakfast was served in the lounge area and had a good selection including various cooked egg options . The concierge provided us with... More

Their services are amazing! One of the date we stayed was my girlfriend's birthday, thus they treated us a free wine and birthday cake, and even a hand written birthday card. So sweet. Room is clean and tidy. Will definitely come again!

Lanson Place gave us a complete Hong Kong experience. Their personable staff were always helpful, and the location is right in the centre of authentic local restaurants and some of Hong Kong's best shopping complexes (Times Square, Lee Gardens and Sogo). There's unlimited WIFI, snacks and even a companion smartphone with unlimited data and free phone calls that you can... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
