I came to HK for a conference at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibit Center in Wanchai. In the past, I've stayed in Sheung Wan or Tsim Sha Tsui and this is the first time I have stayed in what is probably considered Hong Kong's 'redlight' district. First, the area isn't seedy at all. The Fleming is nicely situated near... More

position excellent right near Exhibition centre and Wan Chai. seen better days its definitely a 3 star hotel masquerading as 4. Large rooms and corridors are gloomy, slightly scuffed and seen better days. all in all OK for budget traveller but only if at special prices. you can do better.

People and the hotel web page talk about this as a" boutique hotel' - if this means small rooms - worn out and dirty carpets - a cafe with a small high priced selection that is open for only part of the 24 hour day - slow laundry - and a price that rises as the hotel fills up then... More

This hotel is a small boutique hotel. Staff are nice and courteous. Room is not big but it's modern and clean, and it has everything I needed during my trip. Breakfast selections are not as many as some hotels, but I love it. They focus on Western style breakfast. Location wise, not too far away from MTR and there're some... More

Convenient for Wan Chai ferries and MTR, (take exit A1 from MTR station , 2 mins walk away). Had a deluxe room on 7th floor, good size, walk in shower, small microwave and 2 ring hob in room also k,(did not use). King size bed, firm, comfortable. This hotel has an unjustifiably high star rating and the price is absurdly high for what you get. Definitely choose another hotel unless you are getting a substantial discount to stay here. When I booked I paid about 1/3rd of the advertised rate which made the stay acceptable, otherwise consider choosing another similarly priced hotel nearby. Negatives: hard to find... More

Very bad: The hotel was all to exspensive. We ask for a room not close to the elevator, but the room was front of the door. The bed was to hard. When you go for the breakfast you need to go out and some times you could not get a table, because the room was so small. The was a... More

It is a small hotel compared to the evarage number of rooms you can find elsewhere in HK. It is not so easy to find, since it is in a secondary street. However, the staff is very kind and gently and can help you suggesting and planning rapidly your short stay in HK. The room (only 6 each floor) was... More

Fleming is a great hotel to stay at if you want to be in Wan Chai. The staff are extremely helpful, especially when you are trying to get a taxi (they will go out and hail one for you, if cabs are hard to come by, they actually go further down the road and find one for you, and then... More
