We arrived in HK around 10:30pm. On arrival there was an issue with the plumbing in our room and the hotel was sold out. The hotel staff made arrangements for us to stay at the Panorama. We were in town for a short time and had wanted to stay at the LKF because of its proximity to nightlife. We were... More

We arrived very early morning from USA and were hoping we could get into our room, but it was (understandably) not ready. The staff graciously allowed us to shower and change in the gym showers (a lot nicer than it sounds) and store our bags at the desk. Concierge was very helpful with planning our day and recommended a nearby... More

The din of Lam Kwai Fong bombards you as you leave your cab. The LKF is a sanctuary if you can land a high floor. This is a smallish, hip boutique hotel, with narrow halls and less than 10 rooms per floor. I was upgraded to a 600 room, which was spacious, modern, clean and well furnished. The bathroom was... I had arrived at Hotel LKF at 6am and was greeted nicely by the bell boy who took me to the front desk. At the front desk I was acknowledged in a very bad manner by "Ajay" who seemed to be having a very bad morning so thought he could show it on his paying guest. I asked if I... More

It was not my first time staying in LKF and there were always a delight surprise for me. This time, I was staying for Christmas celebration with my friends. Lovely rooms. High quality. Crap showers. Overpriced. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL food. Relatively below average staff (some are fine / some rude & unhelpful / inexperienced). Internet didn't work & no one could fix it. I've stayed there 10 times (not my choice) for work & would def not go on my own coin.

The hotel is overpriced for what it offers as an overall experience. Stayed in Lan Kwai Suite. The room was spacious but very very worn out. The cleaning service was average and the breakfast below average. In general it seemed that landowner has quit from its investment...all the areas in the hotel where very very used and worn out. Great located, just in the city center one step away from the nightlife, i liked the rooms, spacious and clean, but it' s a very priced hotel with almost no facilities, i did not like the staff, there was no friendness in their welcome, perhaps they are too much used to people coming and going, but i still believe that... We always stay at Hotel LKF By Rhomus when we visit HK. Rooms are of a good size and it is very accessible to Central and Hong Kong MTR, Central Piers, shopping centres as well as all the good eataries. For those who like the night scene, LKF is an ideal location to stay.

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
