We've stayed at the Dragon Hostel in the Sincere House 5 times in the past 4 years, at Ah Shan (Dragon Guesthouse) once, and at the Cosmic GH twice. We've also looked at other places in the Chungking Mansions, Mirador Mansion, Sincere House and other places. The Dragon Hostel has the best combination of price, cleanliness, congenial guests, and professional... more

I had a private en-suite bedroom with twin beds. The room was tiny and luckily it was just me in there (!), but then this is common of most accommodation in Asia. The room was very basic but had everything you need in it for the price that you pay: air conditioning, a wall fan, bed linen provided (although I... more

Rooms are very small, but location is good, no windows in room very cell like. Staff are friendly and helpful, didnt have a problem getting on the free internet. Lacks atmosphere. Deli France is short walk away if you want Western food, so is MacDonalds. MTR short walk away, close to Ladies Market. My tour ended at city view hotel,... more

Stayed for 4 nights with spouse, the room is small (as expected and learnt from the reviews) so we were okay with it. However, the bed was placed from wall to wall, which limit the leg space, did not hv comfortable sleep though. Location was great! You can find almost everything there. The room was cleaned daily, but unfortunately the... more

The hostel itself felt safe despite all of the traffic on the street level but the room itself was pitifully small and had no window to the outside - it really felt like a cell. My husband actually had to open the door and stand outside to allow enough room for me to open up my bag! The bathroom was... more

My husband and I have stayed here many times while in Hong Kong and think as far as a private double room goes, this place is a great value for the money! The rooms are small, but you can move around, and the beds are "matrimonial mattresses" which just means made of firm foam and not cement-like springs... in other... more

Location is good - right in the heart of Mongkok, and easy access to other parts of the city via the MTR station which is a few minutes walk away. Rooms cramped but very clean, mine had no window so you have no idea of the time of day or the weather until you go out. Building seems a bit... more

Stayed here three nights and I think I spent more time looking for the place than actually staying here! It was quite difficult to find. That said, it was fine otherwise. Rooms are sparse, but really clean. They are also quiet because you're high up, street noise is non-existent. One reviewer mentioned the place having the feeling of being incarcerated... more

The room I stayed in (shared bathroom) was the smallest hostel room I have ever occupied. It was probably 6x4 feet. So, you get what you pay for, but it's noisy, cramped and dark. more

If you're budget consious, this is the best place to stay. Just near the Mongkok station, you could just get to the MTR and go to tourist spots like Disneyland or the Peak. They got discounted disney and ocean park tickets. For a cheap place to stay dont expect a big room, its just a small room to leave your... more
