I stayed in dorm room, however I would think it is suitable for short stay only, the room and toilet is really small and i saw an insect in the room which makes me couldn't sleep well. However, the location is quite strategic as it is near to the mrt station and the airport bus station.

Found this place on hotels.com when looking for a cheap place to stay in a central area. It's a great place with nice staff, clean but slightly small rooms with excellent wi-fi, and in a great location in Kowloon, close to tonnes of shops and restaurants. The only big problem was that, since it was hot, all the air conditioners... More

This is our 2nd stay in HK and I have been recommending this hostel to all my friends who will be coming to HK. The hostel is accessible to all and is situated at the heart of Mongkok. It's a few minutes walk to The Ladies Market and 5 minute walk to the MTR. The rooms are clean, there is... More

Well let´s be honest if your on a budget and you´re traveling to Hong Kong, then this might be the best solution. Don´t expect much luxury. The dorms( 4 people ) are tiny and the toilet is together with the shower. The good thing about this hostel is the location, the clean rooms, decent wifi speed, the good water pressure... More

I stayed at Dragon Hostel a couple of times back in 2013, then returned in March of 2015 with friends. The location is excellent, close to the MTR and even walking distance to the railway to the border/Shenzhen if you want to do a day trip to the "mainland" like we did. Easy to get to from the airport, whether... More

Location of the hostel is great because it's really near the subway. We didn't have any problems with finding it. When I saw the building where hostel is located I was a little bit sceptical at first but when I saw a room I relaxed. A man in reception was really nice and he spoke english. He showed us a... I've stayed in many hostels throughout Asia, so I have an idea of what to expect, but this one was a bit of an outlier. First of all, it's hard to find, and the hostel provides no directions. It's not on the main street, Argyle Rd, as one might expect from the address, but on a side street. As far... More

We were pleased with our stay at Dragon Hostel. Staff recommended a great dim sum restaurant on the same block that we ate at every day. Check in was smooth, staff were helpful. Rooms are tiny, but we adjusted to it no problem since the room was so functional. Luggage goes under the bed, plenty of little shelfs. We even... More

Accessibility 4/5. It's a little bit far from other attractions but a few minutes away from the train station so accessibility is not a big concern. Value for money 4/5. Good for backpackers and budget travels. Comfort 2.5/5. Rooms are small, specially the bathroom. Like I said, this hostel is more suitable to backpackers and budget travelers. Service 4/5. The... Staying in Mong Kok

Neighborhood Profile
Mong Kok
It’s one of the highest density districts in the world, so come to Mong Kok prepared for action. Home to every market, restaurant and shopping arcade imaginable, Mong Kok is the one-stop shop to satisfy all your shopping needs. Dust off your finest negotiation skills and dive into the bartering frenzy. Similar retailers will conveniently congregate in the same area forming easy to remember references such as “flower street” and “sneakers street.” Here you will also find various local delicacies being served at street snack shops or hole-in-the-wall restaurants. One reliable rule of thumb: the smaller the place, the better the food.
