The most dissappointing stay I being to. We booked a room and requested to stay 6am to 3pm. The in-charge said ok. When we reached Hong Kong, we went to check-in around 7am ++. The manager was not there and sent their maid to open the place. The maid rudely talked to us that if you can't wait, then you... More

Location is very strategic, close to the Ladies Market, Fa Yuen Market and the MRT. Many street foods around so eating will not be a problem. Room is clean albeit small. But it's OK for us Only downside is the long elevator queue sometimes, but I guess that is always a problem in the crowded HK

Me and my boyfriend booked a private room for one day/night layover. And we were definitely surprised about how small the room was. Three sides of the bed were literally touching the walls and there was barely enough room for our large backpacks. We figured we would just walk around for most of the day enough that we would be... The room had just about enough space for a bed and our two rucksacks to be standing upright. After we'd unpacked a few items the floor space was gone! The bathroom is also uncomfortably small. Day to day, the housekeeping did not replace our towels, but just put the same dirty ones back on the bed which was a bit... More

Stayed here since 3 days ago and a few more days to go. Thank you Fiona and staff for helping my very early check in request at 10am. Was so tired after arriving in HK in the early morning and my children needed to sleep. It is amazing. A 5 star hotel will not let u check in at 10am... More

Right in the heart of Kowloon but it is easy to miss as the entrance to this hostel is through an unassuming doorway to a high rise. The room was quite small, of course, but this is to be expected in Hong Kong and my son, who is 6 feet and I shared it comfortably and easily It was spotless.... More

This apps Map made me lost. Go ah shan hostels website. And there is right a map. Besides that this app was helpful. And also the hostelitself was extreamly noisy. The owner was friendly but when she is not there, the employees make noise all the time. And you can hear their conversation clearly like you are in the same... More

Staying in Mong Kok

Neighborhood Profile
Mong Kok
It’s one of the highest density districts in the world, so come to Mong Kok prepared for action. Home to every market, restaurant and shopping arcade imaginable, Mong Kok is the one-stop shop to satisfy all your shopping needs. Dust off your finest negotiation skills and dive into the bartering frenzy. Similar retailers will conveniently congregate in the same area forming easy to remember references such as “flower street” and “sneakers street.” Here you will also find various local delicacies being served at street snack shops or hole-in-the-wall restaurants. One reliable rule of thumb: the smaller the place, the better the food.
