The hotel is very well located, near the Wanchai MTR station and adjacent to a bus station. You can find a circle K and 711 on the same block and pubs and restaurants as well as a bit more seedier establishment in the main street behind the hotel. All in all, very much worth the money spent

Good value for the money, room clean and quite, personnel helpful and very friendly. Did use Breakfast only once ... too posh and too expensive. There are some places nearby, nicer and better for good money. The location of the hotel is great, situated on Hennessy Road, halfway to Causeway Bay and to Central. Wanchai MTR 5 min walk and... I’ve worked in Hong Kong four times now and I stayed in this hotel each time, booked by my client under a corporate deal (a recommendation in itself). It’s a small hotel by anyone’s standards and this means that the service does have a more personal feel. The rooms are clean and well-equipped. It’s a only a short walk to... More

I stayed for two weeks at the Metropark. The best part of the hotel was the buffet breakfast. Also the front desk and breakfast staff were helpful but the doormen were a bit out of place. My room smelled like mildew hence why they had a dehumidifier in the room. Something must have been haywire in the bathroom because the... More

Arrived late on Sunday evening having booked a comfort room and was given a family comfort which had an extra single bed. Room was a good size, I was expecting it to be smaller so it was very nice we were given an upgrade. Check... More

We have a very positive experience at the Metropark Wanchai Hotel. I give it a 5 star. The hotel is very convenient, clean and the cell phone (US call is free) is so useful. The room on the 6th floor is quiet and spacious at the HK standard. We felt very safe during the entire15 nights stay back in Nov/Dec.... More

The staff was definitely the best part of staying at the Metropark Hotel. And Grace at the Front Desk went out of her way to be helpful, she was AWESOME! The rooms are adequate and the furnishings were just okay. Our room had no view, but we did not go to Hong Kong to spend time in a hotel room.... More

I stayed in this hotel only for one night and got a room for 4 persons!! Of course I stayed alone in room, but strange feeling left)) Location of the hotel is comfortable for all types of leisure: night adventures (just 150 meters away) or just having a good sleep) Breakfast on good level, wifi is also. Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
