This hotel is close to a tram line (1 min walk). I could catch the tram to Central or Causeway bay. It was very convenient. When we checked in, they upgraded us to a bigger room which was lovely. At the end of the day, after all the shopping, there's this great massage place just on the corner outside of... More

Overall had a good stay. Hotel was in great location in Wan Chai right in the middle of all the restaurants and bars, very close to MRT and bus stops. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Room had all the amenities needed and decent sized for Hong Kong. Only complaint was the carpet had numerous stains which detracted from... More

Chose this hotel mainly because of the location and price at the time of my stay and as it turned out, it was a great stay and enjoyable experience. To get to this hotel from Hong Kong International Airport, the cheapest and easiest way is to catch the A11 Cityflyer bus and get of at stop number 9 (Luard Road).... More

I have visited this nice hotel three times already and they definitely deserve a good comment. Rooms are nice and location is perfect. Only bad part was that people in the reception were not so friendly. However this time I have met with Ms. Anais in reception and special thanks to her for the friendly and professional approach. Now I... More

First the lobby is nice, but it is not spacious. Typical size for a hotel that has this price range. The room is good, comfortable and quiet. The comfort room is spacious and clean. The Tram is just across the street, it is cheap and a good transportation to see the city. You can meet a lot of Filipinos in... More

Excellent location, free room upgrade. Easy to MTR and the ferry, lot of restaurants near by as well as the convention center. No problem with the room and the hotel service whatsoever and quick check in/out.

The stay at the hotel was good but the reception area was abit crampy. 8 mins walk to the MTR with pubs just at the backstreet of the hotel. A good Wan Ton Mee shop can be found near the hotel. Room size is not as what we expected, abit small.

We booked the hotel for three nights for its close location to the HKTDC and based on general good reviews, I requested the rooms that did not face Hennessy road to avoid loud noises. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, the bathroom has a good selection of amenities. The breakfast menu of the hotel is great, broad selection... More

Very disappointed in this hotel as there were a few of us I was not in control of where we stayed however from the images it looked updated and modern. The photos are misleading as most taken with a wide angle lens and the rooms are in fact very small including the lobby. The staff were very friendly and it... More

I had to book a hotel last minute in HK and someone recommended this place. Found a room for around $100 usd. Got there and was immediately impressed by the new lobby and the place's location! It is in the heart of if all! Bars around the corner and a 5 minute cab ride to Lan Kwai Fong. Amine (the... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
