I stayed 10 days at the Cosmopolitan in early January. The bedroom was large, spacious and very comfortable. I was on the 20th floor and, unlike some people who have written reviews, I did not find it unsettling looking over the large cemeteries. I was on the 2oth floor and there was no problem from traffic noise. I used room... More

When I travel to HK on business, my family and I stay at the Cosmopolitan. This is the second time we have stayed at the Cosmo, our first experience was great. Its location is not the most convenient and it does not have a resort style feel or the big atrium. What the Cosmo does have in spades is excellent... More

We stayed at the cosmopolitan for three nights in February. The hotel overlooks Happy Valley racecourse. Once you get your bearings it is in an excellent position. There is a tram stop literally across the road from the hotel going into the main part of the city. Look for trams marked Kennedy Town, these go up through the main central... More

This is a lovely, clean, well located hotel. The staff are polite and attentive. The room was modern and tastefully decorated. Tea and coffee making facilities were good as we're the amenities. There is mobile phone in the room which is pre loaded with useful information and maps which you can take out with you. I would highly recommend this... More

I haven't been back to cosmopolitan hotel since 2012. I tried to contact the hotel and my old friend Ronald Cheung ,FOM replied to me within a second. He and sales manager ,carol arranged my reservation during the CNY holidays. Ronald and his super team member (Kevin)greet and arranged my arrival in a welcome home style. The rooms have been... The Cosmopolitan Hotel Queens Road East: opposite the Queen Elizabeth Stadium, just across the road from Happy Valley Race Course, a ten minute walk from Times Square and the MTR. 100 yards from the little buses to take you to Stanley, Aberdeen, and other places of interest. I have been four times and each time I could not find fault... More

Excellent hotel for families because of their smartphone which is provided to each room. Free shuttle bus helps a lot going to shops and nearby mtr stations. Concierge, staffs were very helpful, informative and friendly.

The rooms are of the typical size - small - for this category of hotels in HK. If you take a twin bed, the two beds are actually actually attached to each other. But the compact room still has all the amenities. The bathroom is very compact in design. The best part of the hotel are the free mobile phones... More

Travelled to Hong Kong with family a couple of years back and stayed at Cosmopolitan.. The stay was very comfortable, very spacious rooms, and excellent breakfast buffet.. The hotel is very conveniently located near Times Square, with regular shuttles to and from, arranged by the hotel.. Lots of good eateries nearby.. The people at the travel desk were very helpful... Being Chinese New Year everywhere on the island was booked out. Finding an available room at the Cosmopolitan was a grand relief. A little expensive for our liking but I guess that's to be expected at this time of the year! Accommodation is clean and sports a good size room (suite) with free phone/ wifi. I'll be back.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

    Neighborhood Profile
    Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
