If you are booking a hostel in Hong Kong check the address - Nathan Road or ChungKing Mansion because they have Many "Hotel", hostels and apartments but they are run by the same corporation. I was in a dorm with 5 other people in the size of a closet and all booked different hostels. I was Budget, another was German,... More

Chungking Mansions entrance hall is the place for foreign exchange. There are many counters to choose from so best to took a look inside before making a final choice. This place is a melting pot of all cultures and is always busy so before of touts and pick pockets. Cannot speak about the rooms but the location on Nathan Road... More

Stayed here for 7 nights. Beds were too small, TV didn't work, bathroom very small and toilet gets blocked often. Not ideal for families or couple. I stayed on the 7th floor and the elevator was always full and we had to wait for 10-15 minutes to get in due to the busy nature of the hotel staff and travelers.... More

The only good thing I can say about this place is that's well located and less expensive then other places.. But everything else was bad!!!! Firstable we felt unsafe because of the only one elevator was all time full and we had to spand some 20 minutes every time to get up or downstairs.. Rooms wasn't clean, bad toilet and... More

Chungking mansions is a well located, very centr4al, excellent facilities and is very safe family residence. Do Not be put off by the touts at the entrance, just ignoire them and it is absolutely safe at any time of the day and night. It is very centrally located and most attractions are within walking distance. Metro is just adjucent; the... More

Hmmm now what can i say, well I stayed here in September of 2013 for one night, it'd have been safer, cleaner to stay on the streets of Hong Kong! Im not particularly fussy when it comes places to stay but this was bad even by my standard! The room had 3 small beds, a wardrobe full of other peoples... More

I was in the Chungking House for about a week. Rooms are very small but the price is also good to be true. Staff was professional, prompt in solving problems. Rooms were clean and tidy. Everything is close by the lodge (Subway, Restaurants and Shoppping place. If ur a visitor and not wiling to pay huge amounts to stay in... More

This place is in a very good location - however the accommodation is above a busy shopping arcade - the lifts are always full , many people crowing around trying to sell accommodation , watches , suits - very intimidating - rooms terrible - very shabby , limited hot water, mis- matching bed linen and poor quality towels - very... You get what you pay for, and this is cheap accommodation in central Honkers; one of the most densely populated places in the world. So don't expect the Ritz, but expect the unexpected and you will have a good nights sleep for a good price (even better if you haggle). Ten minutes walk from the ferry point to HK Island... More

Stayed at Chungking Mansion for 5 days during my first ever Hong Kong Vacation with friends. As my title goes, Chungking Manson looked eerie on the outside (except for the fancy name of the building that lit brightly at night) but was actually okay once you get to be in the hotel of your choice. Im not saying it was... More
