Madera residence is great in every aspect! The apartments are modern and comfortable. But the best is the staff they are always kind and willing to help you in everything! I will come back because is a wonderful place with amazing and kind staff. Love it!

Great location and decent sized serviced apartment in Kowloon with friendly helpful staff! Would recommend if staying in Hong Kong for one month or more. Easy access to the heart of the city and transportation and shops.

I'd stayed for 3 weeks in unit #D on an upper floor with a nice city view. I didn't experience any "bug" problem. I found the apartment to be nicely decorated, very clean and quite functional. Though the bedroom is small, the living room and bathroom are reasonably spacious (in HK standard, especially in TST area). The...

I had read rave reviews about this place, went with plenty of expectations, but was totally disappointed. Soon after check-in, found there was no soap, toiletries provided. Had to rush to nearby super market for the same. Then realised no utensil cleaner was provided. It was clearly mentioned that the maid will not was the utensil, nor was there any... More

First of all, the location is very convenient to MTR (i.e. public transit / Subway). It has many restaurants to choose around the residences. For example, there are at least 2 very well known, top notch restaurants around within 5 minutes walk. Also, the service apartment is on the good and quiet side of Nathan road, (while the other side... More

Stayed the minimum 1month while waiting for my wife to give birth at the nearby Queen Elizabeth Hospital. One bedroom apartments at 400 sq ft are quite small but everything else was just about prefect. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Each apartment came with it's own Linksys wireless router. Internet connection was fantastic, not one hickup in the month... More

I would give five stars to the non-english speaking service staff and excellent location...but excellent kind of ends there...the air conditioning goes off periodically and there's nothing you can do about it in the middle of a hot stuff tropical night. I was given a table fan the following day while the air was fixed. But what's worse, is a... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighborhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighborhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighborhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
