We had a nice stay at Micro Hotel, the staff was very nice and ready to help us with any question. Very reasonably priced. Micro Hotel is conveniently located, quite close to You Ma Tei station. Rooms are clean,well-furnished and decorated but it is noisy at night as it is located on a main street. It didn't prevent us from... More

Stayed in a double en-suite and the room is tiny, if you're anything over 5'9 then your feet hit the wall when lying down. The bathroom is so compact that you can't sit on it straight without your knees hitting the wall in front of you. The location is quite good as its on Nathan Road and close to 2... More

The bed size is the standard size of Hong Kong all hostels, except the hotel. We believed your price is about two hundards more and booked at 50% discount price period. As Hong Kong living stand is kind of expensive, please kindly considering nearby Eaton Hotel, room price about $800 to $1000 per nights, their bed is king size.... More

The room is new renovation, and their location is wonderful, closed to all main scene.

At the beginning i booked this place just because of its cheap price. However, after my stays, i found that it is an awsome place. Small but clean and tidy. Everything is well organized with a lot of notice. Very good location, a lot of good foods nearby. The boss is very talkative and friendly. We make friend as well.

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighborhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighborhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighborhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
