We stayed in Micro Hotel twice during the course of our 2 week visit to Hong Kong. The first time for 3 nights and the second time for 4 nights. At £13 per night, you will not find much cheaper than this in Hong Kong, especially for the quality. The hotel is relatively new and the decor is very modern.... More

We stayed micro hotel 3 days, when we came here I know Hong Kong the room is tinny. First day we took the airport line to here, change 3 times different train line. Ppl was friendly but usually they didn't know the address just know the building name. So we walked pass away... We found here about 10 mins later... More

We stayed for 6 nights at Micro Hotel. Like the name says the rooms are really very small: 6 m² for two persons and two big backpacks - nothing for people with claustrophobia. For us it was ok and I think the hotel is a very good value. The location is very central and close to the MTR station Jordan.... More

Micro hotel was a one-night stay on the first stage of my South East Asian adventure. Even Hong Kong is not the cheapest place for a budget traveler, I found this place to be worth the money considering what you would spend in other places. It was one night - the bed was comfortable, staff were friendly, it was clean.... More

Couldn't ask for more for what we paid. Clean and well located. AC and hot shower. Would come again. The bed was extremely comfortable, we slept better than we had done for a long time. All the little details have been thought through including being able to lock luggage in the hallway after self checkout!

The hotel is located in between 2 MRT stations (Yau Ma Tei/Jordan) on nathan road which is the main road which runs all the way from areas of mong kok down to tsim tsa tsui. Walk to either MRT stations will take about 5 mins from the hotel. Place is a little small but i think it fits me nicely... More

Great little find, this place is very clean free wifi, tv, aircon everything you need and more, it is like it says a "micro hotel" new and modem style in the Main Street of Hong Kong everything is in 15 minute walking distance, the staff are very kind and anything you need is never a problem. I would recommend this... More

Right on the Main Street of Hong kong - nathon road, very convenient if you wish to visit old town " temple market" but also only 15/20 minute walk from harbour to Hong Kong central! Very clean, fantastic value for money great for back packers but also couples on a holiday. Do not be put off that it's in a... More

We stayed in a couple of small HK hotels, and this one was affordable for backpackers, and comfortable. While they call this micro, it was definitely bigger than other HK hotels we had been to. Of course it was still micro, but comfortable. The wifi worked, and the room looked even stylish with all their Ikea furnishings. A great deal... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighborhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighborhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighborhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
