This place is super cool! I stayed here mainly because it was the meeting place for a 15 day tour around China. I stayed 3 nights before my trip and it was a fantastic decision! I've never travelled solo before so was a little daunted about the prospect of spending a couple of days alone in HK but right away... More

We stayed in the private rooms which are on the opposite side of the hostel in a big apartment block. I've seen some reviews mentioning staff and I understand from visiting now. When I tried to check in I was ignored for a good 15 mins. It was irriatating I wont lie but anyways. The room was very small but... More

Nice clean hostel and bathrooms are cleaned daily. A good location to get into the central area and right next to the tram and train station. Also there was a rooftop area for drinking and socialising with other travellers. The only negatives were that it was quite difficult to find and it was a shame the staff were so unfriendly... More

I won’t sugar quote it but, there is no other hostel in Hong Kong, which offers as much as what Yesinn Causeway Bay does. It’s incredible believe that. Their mind over matter principle clearly worked. What an advantage they have over other hostels –in strength I mean (useful property that includes plenty of beds, clean restrooms, unquestionably fast Internet like... More

I visited hongkong on last christmas. But I had trouble at that time. I hadnt booked hotel before but there was no other room because that was christmas. However, I luckly met Nancy. She found me fine room even though people said there was no room in whole city. She was also good friend. She lead us to the finest... More

OK yeah it was cheap. But there's cheap and then there's... well, The Yesinn Causeway Bay! We booked two nights in a three-bed room. No lift so you lug your massive bag up three flights of stairs to reception (where someone else is already complaining) to find that you're in the other building. Lug your massive bag down the stairs... More

Good - Very friendly staff who frequently take the time to chat with the guests and to give recommendations. Fluent in both English and Mandarin (and I assume Cantonese). - Interesting activities organized by the hostel. - Free use of the massage chair. - Awesome and cheap massage place called "Big Bucket" just 5 minutes walk away. - 2 minutes... Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
