The hotel was in the perfect spot. Lots of restaurants and shops around. The room is a bit small but it is clean and adequate for short stay. The bathroom was very clean. I will choose this hotel when I come back to Hong Kong again.

This was the perfect hotel for me and my sister. We loved our stay here because the staff was very accommodating and friendly, the room was nice and clean, they had good quality beddings, but most especially because of its great location. My sister and I went there primarily to shop. It's location in Jordan is ideal for those who... More

..A very decent hotels..nice location...no wifi in the room..but good one in the lobby ..it's better to come with your girlfriend or something..there were two girls in 609 during my stay..they left before we become friends..it's hard to be single..as there are many activities that need either friends, family ..or definitely beautiful travelers that make good company..good luck

Hong Kong is a place you would go back to every now and then. Shamrock Hotel is going to be my default hotel. Location: Shamrock Hotel has a very good location if you are in Hong Kong to go places. The Jordan MTR station is literally a few steps away. And, even if you are interested in strolling around the... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighborhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighborhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighborhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
