There is no denying that this is a terrible hotel! We paid about 200USD for one night. However, this was expected because we spent one night for the Cheung Chau Bun Festival. In fact, the poor hotel reviews soften the blow how bad this hotel really is As we stepped inside the room, we could smell cigarette smoke. The fridge... More

I think some of the reviewers are a bit harsh about this place considering the price. It's not fancy, but It was only about $100 USD including breakfast for two and it's on the beach. It is only a short walk out of the busy touristy area of town, yet seems very quiet. The balcony of our room overlooked the... More

Spent 3 nights here and found it to be very underwhelming and in need of an update. The rooms are very old and although, some updates have been done like the bathroom and the sliding doors to the balcony, which wouldn't seal properly and with the heating not producing any warm air made for a very cold night. No wifi... More

I used to live on this island and have been using this hotel for a number of years since the 1980's. It's a beautiful spot and a lovely building and was once the best in the island however I am sorry to say this hotel is in need of a total overhaul. No wifi in the hotel rooms, swimming pool... The Warwick hotel reminds of the days before they kicked the brits out, this isnt a bad thing it makes it quite nostalgic, drinking G&T,s on the balcony you can almost imagine yourself beating a line of coolies with your pace stick, happy times. the views are spectacular and when we arrived the sun came out on day 2 and... I have visited the hotel twice. Although it was a bit old but the scenery was the best. Today is bad weather and very heavy rain in the morning . We stayed in a comfortable bed room and have good view through the bacolony. Then, we go to the beach within 3 minutes when the sun appeared. Lastly, we stay... More

The rooms are very outdated and in desperate need of a major renovation. Poor taste in furnishings. Every room smells like smoke; they must permit smoking in all rooms no matter what may have been promised when you booked. Service is fine, but the accommodations themselves are 2-star quality at a 5-star price. They still have the old fashion water... More

Cheung chau is just a 30 to 45 minutes ferry rIde from HK central and we decided to stay in warwick for a mini break on weekend. The hotel is just a 10 minutes walk from ferry pier, but far enough to escape from the crowd. The room is a bit wear out but the balcony view is perfect. We... More
