This is primarily a business hotel however the location is ideal for discovering Hong Kong and I certainly felt well looked after as a tourist and saw plenty of other tourists using the hotel. After a traumatic time at the airport due to bad weather I arrived in the early hours of the morning and was not charged for my... More

The Harbourview in Wanchai within walking distance of the MTR and the Star Ferry still offers good value, particularly if you like a view of the comings and goings on the water. Paid for the buffet breakfast this time and do not regret it. Good cab and bus service to the airport. Easy walk to the Lockhart Road bars and... More

Staying here for Business was a good option. Located within walking distance of the exhibition center is another plus to this hotel. Well trained staff and everyone wears a smile on them. Check in and check out was smooth. The only thing I didn't like was the stuff speaking in Chinese when s guest who does not understand Chinese is... More

The rooms were spacious for Hong Kong. The view on the harbour side was very good from the higher floors . Check in/out was quick and the shuttle to the airport was excellent ($25AUD) The air-conditioner was quiet and rooms clean. The bed was "orthopaedic" firm which took a bit to get used to. WiFi was a bit slow but... More

Location: Very good location, near from Van Chai station, convention centre, harbour stations. Staff: very friendly, helpful, and very nice. Rooms: Too short beds. I am a 180 cm toll but my feet stayed out of the bed all the time) Too old furniture! I felt like I was in a old Soviet hotel. There is only two types of... More

I stayed here for 2 nights. The location is great and the room was clean and functional. It was definitely a great value at HK$750/night but otherwise an average business trip hotel. It doesn't have any particular charm and my window faced other buildings with no sky in view.

I found a very nice deal on this hotel and thought I'd try it out. I arrived at Wanchai metro station and proceeded to try to find my way to the hotel from there on foot. I found it quite tricky as it's not very well signposted. Once I eventually arrived, I was checked in quickly, given my keys and... More

Been here twice on business trip. And I stayed in premium room or something i dont really like the bed and im not sure why housekeepers dont clean my glass though its half full. Strategic place in Wan Chai, so i would recommend that. Otherwise its okay, I guess.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
