The hotel is perfectly located in Wan Chai area, very close to the Convention centre, local market, shopping street and MRT. My room was small but it was large enough for me. If you are in town for business and looking for a place on Wan Chai. I recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for 7 nights in July while attending a conference at the HKCC after booking online and paying in full before I arrived. Check-in was fine and I was shown to a 'Club Room' on the 18th or 19th floor. The room was small and air-con virtually non-existent in 33 degree heat and 90% humidity. While there had... More

Really, the only good thing was the location of this hotel. It is close to everything -- the shops, the Wan Chai station, the Ding Ding station, and the Convention Center. Other than that, it was a big disappointment. Arriving at the address, I nearly missed the entrance of the hotel since its sign is so small and so well... More

after travelling 22 hours arrived at the Empire Wanchai hotel having booked on the net and used my visa-card for the booking. The large marbled reception area had the air-con turned to deep freeze levels due to the 35C and 90% humidity. This was the ONLY WELCOME THING ABOUT THIS PROPERTY.Reservations staff were rude and unfriendly did not want to take... More

Located in Wanchai, this hotel is closed to everything. Easy for public transport (with its own stop for the airport shuttle), nice restaurants and the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre just three minutes away. It is a good value for money. Just note that your are in the red-light district...

This has now become our standard residence for HK 7's. Perfect location, good price (a lot cheaper outside of the rugby, but for what you get at this time, very good compared to other hotels) and very efficient staff. Nice, clean rooms. (small) pool on the roof and easy to hail cabs from

we chose this hotel because it was one of the airport shuttle stops. it is 10 min walk from Wan Chai MTR. 5 min away from tram stop. there;s a 7-11 convenience store opposite the hotel. many eateries and restaurants within the vicinity. standard Rooms are reasonably for Asians.. where Europeans will find it small. however it is not as... An average business hotel in the midst of one of the most lively boroughs in Hong Kong (some would certainly call it a "hunting ground"). Be that as it may, even if the rooms are a bit small and the aisles gloomy, the overall feeling is that you get a reasonable value for money. Do not miss having a nice... More

Rooms here are well decorated and comfortable and, surprisingly, a little bigger than you normally find in Hong Kong hotels. I found hotel staff friendly, easy to deal with and competent. One thing you need to watch, though, is at check out when they give you the option of paying either in HK dollars or US dollars. Always choose HK... More
