The Empire was a very good base for a week long stay in Hong Kong. It is close to the Convention Centre, many restaurants and bars, and the ferry crossing to Kowloon. The rooms were not as small as I had been led to believe. The staff were unfailingly polite and pleasant. more

The front desk staff are among the rudest people we've ever met. We knew this was an inexpensive hotel, so the mold in the room didn't both us that much.
