My stay at this hotel was good. Their staff were warm, efficient and can communicate well in English. This hotel is in an isolated residential area, so we needed to take a taxi to head on to the shopping district. Had I known this I would've booked somewhere nearer the busier areas. But overall, the hotel wasn't disappointing. The room... More

Hotel rooms are tiny but within Hong Kong normal standards. Although they are far out of town and the attractions, the tram station is 2-3 minutes walk away and that can link you almost anywhere, especially if you stop at Causeway bay near the MTR station. You can also use the hotel shuttle which leaves at fixed times to fixed... More

Emperor Hotel is located in a quiet area of Happy Valley. The room we stayed in was of average size, with twin beds, a desk, ref, TV and room safe. Complimentary water and toiletries were provided. Wi-fi is available. Transportation may be limited if you’re used to using the MTR to quickly get around Hong Kong as the hotel is... More

The hotel is very comfortable, nice service. Standard rooms are small, but perfect for one-week staying. Is well located, the neighborhood is quite. Breakfast options near to hotel. They have a free transfer/shuttle to some landmarks and shopping places, also you can get close to subway or bus stops. I've been here twice, and sleeping quality in very good. They... More

Nice room complete with everything you need. Also like the window beside my bed where i can see the hills. The staff are also very accommodating, just one call and they've got what you need. Requested an iron and adapter during my stay and i wasn't charged for it unliked other hotels. The wifi is really good too. I would... More

The Emperor (Happy Valley) Hotel isn't really a hotel. It's just a restaurant and car park that happens to also rent out spare rooms. To be fair, the rooms they rent out are decent, albeit -- such as the norm in Hong Kong -- small. The rooms are clean and comfortable and WiFi is generally pretty good. One of the... More

I had to ask to change the room they gave me because it was so small and still smelled like someone had been smoking there. I paid for an upgrade. The room was still small but with more space to work. The windows did not open so it just smelled but at least it was not smoke. The staff at... More

Our 4D3N stay in the hotel was so good. Staff are so nice and have given us good accomodation. Way far from the central but we enjoyed the transportation going to Causeway Bay. Very relaxing place and quiet. Never encountered any problem during our stay. Crews are approachable and they clean the room everyday. Have a safety deposit box and... More

If you are after an easy medium spec hotel in Hong Kong on the mainland this is a good choice. Everything is ok - bed, room size, bathroom but no wow factor. Lots of guests seem to have wifi issues and I never had the brekkie as I preferred to get up and out
