what a wonderful find in hong kong. We had a great stay. Unfortuanately not long enough. Booked double room and were updated to a suite- what a treat. Location absolutely fabulous. Staff friendly. Breakfast wonderful. Great facilities and lots of extras eg fruit in room. Views to die for. Able to watch light and sound show from room. We could... More

It's my 2nd time in hong kong, but 1st time for my parents and brother.. The location was excellent, its just next to Peninsula, near the MTR, near the Star Fery, near the Airport express drop off point... the location was really superb, there are nearby restaurant, a 3 min walk will bring you to Nathan road... its all accessible..... The YMCA Salisbury is fantastic for the price. The harbour rooms have a great view and the service is really efficient and friendly. The hotel is used for classes by locals and, for me, this added to the buzzy atmosphere rather than detracted from it. They don't include breakfast in the price but there is a cafe - I didn't... I can't add more than what was said in the previous reviews. It's a great hotel in the one of the best location in HK. Again it's not like the YMCA in the States; People start making fun of me when I said that we stayed at the YMCA. Our partial view room was nice, clean and of a good... More

I stayed at the Salisbury for 10 days in April with my wife and 15 year-old son. This was our 3rd visit to HK and this was by far the best hotel we have stayed in. Everything about this hotel was excellent - the location, the rooms, staff, dining - It was just a pleasure to stay there. In future... More

The Hong Kong YMCA Salisbury was a reasonable hotel in a convenient location. Hotel rates in desirable sections on Hong Kong can be very pricey. The YMCA offers a budget conscious alternative. The hotel itself is not overly attractive. The lobby is clean and busy. The YMCA itself is used by the locals so there is a lot of foot... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on our way to London. We booked a harbour view room and was well worth it. It rained for the 3 days we were there, so saw the brilliant Light Spectacular from our room without getting wet! The room was basic but clean. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite upon arrival which... More

Fantastic location! We had booked a room with a view, and arrived late in the evening and were upgraded to a suite. Lovely room. Fantastic view and location. Excellent value for money, especially given other hotels like the Peninsula are right next door. Will return again, and are sending our parents to stay there on their trip to Hong Kong!

This is not your typical YMCA - it is a really nice hotel. Doorman. Lobby staff rough but seems to be the demeanor throughout country - know what you want before you step up to counter or they will have no patience with you. Room was nice - a bit small by American standards but large by European standards. Clean.... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights here on the way to Perth, Australia. We particularly chose it due to its location on the water front whichis excellent. Its very easy to use the underground, star ferry and get around town from here. We had a suite on 16th floor which was excellent and very comfortable with a basket of... More
