The room is clean, neat and tidy, just very outdated and old in appearance, however, it is significantly made up for with the excellent location in central Kowloon. The hotel is on Nathan road which seems to be one of the main drags in Kowloon for shopping and restaurants and bars etc. it has easy access to Kowloon China ferry... More

Good service and nice furnished rooms. The location is good in the middle of Nathan road where you can find many restaurants and shopping centers near to your place. Also the good thing is that the MRT station is in the same building and that make your stay easier in Hong Kong

Stayed 2 nights in Hong Kong during brief stopover. The hotel is well located above the Jordan MTR station with easy bus access from the airport. My wife loves eating and shopping....... This hotel proves very handy as there are hundreds of eateries within walking distances. As far as shopping goes, she would shop and bring back her trophies to... More

Well, to start of, this is my maiden trip to Hong Kong, so not really too sure of what to expect. Heard that most hotels have a very small room size. For me, the superior room has an abundant space for the 3 of us (2+1). Thus, I guess this is a plus point that the hotel is offering. The... More

The powerful shower wants me to use it every time I enter the room. Unfortunately it was cold and rainy outside. This hotel is located above an MTR station which makes moving in and out of the area very conveniently easy. A great location indeed. Back and front streets are full of places to eat, snack and eat again!!!

It is a great place to stay , near by Jordan metro station , shopping area . The staff at this hotel is very friendly, not a lot of English available however the staff try their best to answer our questions. There is a restaurant street very close to the hotel with endless choices, even McDonalds or Pizza Hut is... More

We have stayed 2 nights in Prudential. The hotel is located in Mongkok, just in a corner of Nathan Road. Ideal for a city trip. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable beds. Only the house keeping starts at 07:00 am and sometimes a little bit noisy. Didnt use breakfast cause on the corner you could grab breakfast.... More

Room was nice and spacey with a fancy atmosphere. We paid around $2000HKD for 2 nights which was pretty pricey. We expected a room and service which reflected that price but unfortunately it did not. The plug holes in the table were both faulty . When we tried to plug things in, it would make crackling sounds which means there... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighborhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighborhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighborhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
