It is located in the middle of everything. The staff were not very friendly at first, which we ruled out later that, it was norm in Hong Kong, as they wanted efficiency and hence conversation during their document processing were not encouraged. We walked to Tsim Sha Tsui, to Avenue of Star, the airport express bus was just around the... More

Agent booked us a "superior" room which I presume is hotel speak for standard / entry level. Hands down the worst double bed I have slept in in a long time. I'm barely 6' but my feet hung off the end even with my head against the wall. It was 2 singles used together which is usually ok but this... More

A three nights stay at Prudential Hotel, Hong Kong made our trip just memorable. Conveniently located at Nathan Street, surrounded by shops and eateries it provides easy access to food and shopping. The major problem faced in other hotels in Hong Kong is the same here, as the hotel room could just accommodate only 2 adults and may be a... More

The hotel is above the Jordan MTR station. Upon check in will need to pay HK500 for deposit. Hotel lobby was small and crowded at times. Room is spacious. There is a office desk and a sofa in my room. The hotel room wall is not sound poof and you can hear water flushing sound from the pipe. There are... More

I stayed in the hotel tow times and both the times, I really enjoyed the the room facilities and of course the restaurant, who serves the best chinese cusines. I really loved that. And again, as far the customer services, concergie all are good. Above all, the location in Nathan Road, is easily accessable to any part of the Hong... More

Stayed here with the family. In terms of accessibility, the hotel itself is just above the Jordan Station and there's a bus stop outside the hotel. There are stores in the building as well if you want to shop, and Ramen Champion if you want to eat. It's near shopping areas, restos and there's also a 7-11 store nearby. Hence,... More

Great location, good value and rooms are decent but internet is terrible and the construction within the Hotel is brutal..... Service is mixed and their lack of willingness of willingness to get you a cab is astounding.....

Am a satisfied visitor, I had booked a 3night's stay over at the Prudential Hotel during the off-peak period in mid-March. The room was much bigger than I had expected, very satisfied in comparison to other 2 other hotels I stayed at that were 30% smaller (Dorsett Mongkok and Rosedale Hotel Kowloon were really claustrophobic and of terrible location), and... Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighborhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighborhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighborhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
