This hotel is under construction, and you will hear it every morning. This also means that there is no pool (even though there's still a picture of one on their website). I'm sorry, but providing ear plugs does not compensate for being woken up by fire alarms and jack hammers at 8 in the morning. Hotel staff were apathetic to... more

Dear garbagemanTokyo, First of all let me apologise if your stay was unsatisfactory and if you were disturbed by a fire alarm in the morning. Fire alarms are obviously a necessary feature to ensure the safety of our guests and it is certainly not our intention to cause any disturbance. It is correct that until the end of August 2009...

My husband and 3 year old son stay at the mira hotel. We were treated like royals. I highly recommended this hotel. It has flat large flat screen tv, wireless unlimited internet, rain water showers. The hotel was very modern and sophisticated and helpful, friendly staff. The bed was big enough that the 3 of us could sleep in. Overall... more

We don't usually book expensive hotels whenever we go on vacation but, reading about The Mira, we decided to make this an exception. We were not disappointed. We booked the hotel package that includes breakfast and airport-hotel limousine transfer for 6 rooms. From the moment we arrived at the airport, the limousine pick-up service got us excited in anticipation to... more

I spent 2 nights with my partner in this newly renovated hotel. I had not stayed here before but the new look is indeed very impressive. Prior to our stay, a welcome desk manager offered to do a personalised introduction to the rooms before we made our choice. There are different coloured themes for the rooms - green, silver, red... more

The reaction to this hotel will be a personal one. For me, this hotel was outstanding, but for a more traditional person, the modern features of this hotel can be a little daunting. First, the service is incredible, from the doormen, to the personal escort to the room, to the assistance with the elevator, to a concierge that anticipated what... more

Known as Hotel Miramar when we stayed in July 08, the hotel was undergoing major renovations but they managed them well so we were not interupted. However, our room did not have a window! Not something I have ever felt I needed to request in a hotel room. The curtained wall opened to an opaque glass window with a lit... more

We stayed at the Mira from Jan 3 to Jan 8 , 2009 and the entire family loved it! The accomodations is probably one of the BEST I have ever experienced. The room we got had a 42" (or was it 50"?) plasma TV, a Bose iPOD dock, and a Sony Viao console that allowed you to surf the web... more

Arrived late at the hotel which was being renovated and when show to the room was blown away by the standard and the quality of the finish. The whole atmosphere is very modern and very state of the art but is exceedingly comfortable and excellent value for food and beveridge. it is in an ideal location and would certainly recommend... more
