No amazing views here but pleasant enough. The nibbles on offer were quite nice. Rooms were nice and large for Hong Kong. Breakfast buffet was abit choatic though and the hotel probably... More

This was a layover stop en route to Johannesburg due to Cathay Pacific having problems in Shanghai - so we arrived to an empty foyer at 5 am. The hotel is very central amongst the bustling Nathan road Kowloon CBD. The rooms are well appointed. The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner was most unexpected - with a variety of Chinese... More

My wife and I had 3 nights in this hotel on our way home from Canada. The hotel is conveniently located on Nathan Road and only about a 15 minute walk to the waterfront. There's plenty of shopping around here and good restaurants. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. the staff are very courteous and helpful. When you enter... More

Novotel Kowloon is situated amongst the hustle and bustle of Jordan (Hong Kong). Transport to and from is abundant with very easy access to the MTR and bus stops. As a frequent Hong Kong visitor I wasn't surprised to find myself settling into my room just a little over an hour from stepping off the plane at the International Airport.... More

Nicely located of Nathan road and walking distance to the bustling areas of Kowloon, this hotel is a nice sized Accor property. Rooms are average size but that is typical of Hong Kong. All Requests for connecting rooms duly fulfilled checkin straight forward and rooms have all the standard amenities. Price was also great for an otherwise expensive city. Has... More

We stayed in this Novotel for 5 nights over the Dragonboat Festival long weekend while we were visiting HK. The location is perfect. There's plenty to see and eat on Nathan Rd, MTR Jordan station two blocks away and Temple St night market also nearby. Take a short stroll along Nathan Rd and you'll find yourself either in posh shopping... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighborhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighborhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighborhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
