We recently spent a week at the Novotel Hong Kong Nathan Road - and thoroughly enjoyed it. The breakfast spread was excellent, as was the casual lunch in the bar. The lobby facilities were also well used.

We were booked into the Novotel for a two night stay by our travel agent before joining a cruise in Hong Kong. The location is good although first impressions were a bit mixed. The reception was efficient and our bags arrived in good time. We ate in the bar (two drinks for price of one early evening) and had breakfast... More

Location is good. Rooms were clean. Basic amenties provided. Reception service has CERTAINLY improved. They are much more pleasant and friendly than the last I've stayed. Sleep quality was not a problem - other than the restuarant was renovating next door which then the noise became our alarm clock. Else everything was just fine.

The Novotel in Hong Kong is well located in busy Nathan Road close to the markets and various shops. We found the cost from and to the airport was similar by bus and taxi. The taxi took less than half the time. Staff well very helpful, food was very good.

Novotel Hong Kong Nathan Road Kowloon is conveniently located in the heart of Kowloon's shopping, dining and commercial district. The hotel is 2 min walk from Jordan MTR Station and directly opposite Temple Street Night Market & Jade Market. The central business district, Mong Kok and Ladies' Market is 5-10 min ride on MTR, makes shopping and exploring the city's... More

I have previously stayed at this Novotel location but only for 1-2 days and was always alone. Given my experiences, I decided to take my family and stay there for 9 nights and overall I was disappointed with what I encountered. Previously, I had stayed in the Premier Floor but this time I stayed in the Deluxe room. The rooms... More

After requesting the same thing 3 times since yesterday morning, the item has still not arrived. We requested a change from the wine for our honeymoon request as we do not drink. Firstly, they don't offer anything else besides fruit, secondly they are stuck up about an alternative, and thirdly we still don't have what they've promised. Sleep quality is... More

Dear NaeemSA, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I sincerely apologise for the delay of this reply. We care very deeply about ensuring our guests have an enjoyable stay. We’ve checked with the service team about your comment. Unfortunately the delay was because of a miscommunication between different staff in charge, which is certainly not an... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighborhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighborhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighborhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
