The hotel is in a really good place in Wanchai area near Wanchai station in the cernet of Hong Kong island. But I think the hotel need to improve a little bit, old rooms but quiet rest. And overcoat need to improve so much the GYM a hotel of this level must have a better GYM than the poor one... More

Stayed under a corporate package that provides a further 20 percent off all services including food and beverage. At checkout the discount had not been applied. When queried, the staff member says the bar gives 20 percent to everyone so we cannot have discount. When we point out that the corporate offer is for 20 percent off all prices they... More

Close to Wan Chai MTR station the hotel is conveniently placed to get to most places; two stops to Central for good connections into Kowloon, and the ferries to the islands. Although the room is small, especially the bathroom, it is comfortable enough, and breakfast is the usual International Hotel fayre. The big plus here is the staff who are unfailingly... More

I stayed here on business for a month in March, 2015. The service is impeccable - for example, when I discovered there was down bedding in the room (I'm allergic), I called down to the front desk. Within a minute, someone from housekeeping came to remake my room. 5 minutes after he finished, a manager came to check on me.... More

Good location but that is it. Room was very small for the price - The Excelsior - part of the Mandarin group - was the same price and there is not even a walk-in shower in the Luk Kwok. I stayed in an Executive Room on 28th floor - the only difference I could see from a standard room was... More

The room was a bit small for the price and it looked much better on the website. For the same price, I could have stayed at the Marco Polo Hong Kong with the ocean view. Non the less, it's situated in a very nice location, easy access to nearly everywhere if most of your businesses are in HK area. It... More

I found this hotel very well situated in Wan Chai, and it had efficient and pleasant staff. The room was clean and comfortable with good airconditioning and apprently newly refurbished, but small. If you are familar with the UK, imagine a Premier Inn with better quality sheets and less gastly colour choices. The hotel's facilities are good quality but quite... More

It's fine, but nothing special. It's certainly not a 'luxury hotel, but for this price you wont find one in Hong Kong. The location is excellent, especially for the exhibition centre and the amenities are great. However, the quality of the hotel is moderate to poor. Rooms were a bit dirty (especially the carpets) and furniture could do with being... More

Nice location at Wan Chai, a short walking distance to MTR station and the Convention Centre. Old traditional 5 star hotel, which means everything is up to standard but don't expect something very "wow". Nice view from the room. Room is spacious and clean -- you have to know that "spacious" is not a must in Hong Kong! Recommended.

Nice hotel well located in the center of Hong Kong / Wanchai district. Bed is comfortable. Rooms are quiet even if the district is very crowded at night. A lot of bars around the hotel and some nice restaurants.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
