The photos on the hotel website are a bit misleading. The room I stayed in was tiny, and the decor was definitely not 4-star. I would rate it 3-star at best. The double bed just about fit in, with just enough room for one side table. There is also a very small desk for work and/or making coffee. Unless you... More

I stayed for a month at Bishop Lei and it worked cheaper than a service apartment but a lot better. This Hotel is very easy to reach using the Mid Levels escalator and very convenient to get around central or the Peak. It has good WiFi coverage, small (expected in HK) yet decent rooms, simple bath and very decent facilities.... More

The hotel is rather old fashioned, but charming. My room on the 17th floor allowed to have a splendid view on HK Island - really an experience. It is well located with acces to the turbulent life in the city further down (escalator) The breakfast, which is not included, was ok. The service at the recption desk very supportive. A... More

The hotel is well located in the midlevel area. The breakfast is very good and varies each day, very helpful when staying for 5 days!! The corner suite harbor view was fantastic--wonderful sunrises plus the feeling of being suspended high up. Staff was very dutiful. Downside was that bed mattress was a bit hard and that the bathroom was smallish... More

Really enjoyed my stay here, location is great! View from the rooms on the top floors is lovely so request a high room! As with most rooms in Hong Kong it was a little bit on the small side but nonetheless great room! Food was lovely too!

What can I say, they surpssed our expectations. We travel 2 couples in February 2014. We stayed 2 nights at this hotel, and we booked the cheapest rooms. Our suprise was the fact that they upggrade our room, we had city view, and one of them had 1/2 of the room from glass, and the view was really nice. You... More

Bishop is small but centrally located in Hong Kong City. It overlooks several skyscrapers and if the pollution isn't bad, there's a view of Victoria Harbour. I had a suite so that an extra bed could be added. This was a much larger space than my in-laws had across the hall. They have a restaurant, but I only had coffee.... More

Nothing fancy here, but it's a comfortable and budget-friendly options for backpackers / budget business travelers. Public bus to Central, Admiralty and Causeway Bay. 3-min walk to convenient store. Smoking rooms are available. Shuttle bus service to metro stations is available. What's more you can ask for?

This is a basic, comfortable hotel which offers well-appointed rooms, clean bathrooms and good view of the city. Expect nothing fancy, but the hotel delivers on its promises on all the essentials for a comfortable stay. I would recommend it if you are on a budget.
