It smelt of a musty damp smell. The room was a fraction of the size we used to getting in Hong Kong for the Same price. The room was so small there was only one side you could get in and out on, bathroom and shower small too. They advertise robes there are none, just slippers. Tea and coffee enough... More

I paid more hopping to get a good view, but I got a 4th floor room (2nd lowest floor of the type of room I booked). With no floor-to-ceiling window at the living room area, the view was just a so-so. Disappointing. The hotel is not near any MTR. Couple of buses will bring you from the hotel to the... More

This was our third stay at the Bishop Lei International House. In June we spent four nights in a harbor view suite featuring a comfortable sitting room and a separate bedroom with Queen size bed. Our previous stays were in standard size rooms with two single beds, which are somewhat confined in a small space. We continue to return due... More

Stayed here with girlfriend for two nights as she prepared to move from Hong Kong. Our room had a great harbor view, we looked out on the Bank of China Tower. Room was spacious and clean, staff was friendly and the free shuttle to Airport Express was a stress reliever. Great value, would stay here again.

Nice place. Clean. But rooms exactly the size of a small cruise ship stateroom. Not bad if you're alone. Nothing really near the hotel. Have to take a taxi or navigate the bus thing to get to any action. Even a convenience store. Sort of expensive for water and food.

Bishop Lei is on a hill above Central Hong Kong, a block or two off of the mid-level escalator. They offer shuttle service from the airport express and around Central. The suite is small but well-appointed. It was nice having a small bedroom separate from the living room. There is tv in both and great views. Expect small differences when... More

Stayed here many times, including for a few extended (around 3 week) stays. the small rooms are great if you want value (can be below $100US - book on their website), and the larger rooms are great if you need a bit more room and want a living room for an extended stay. The convenience is on par w hotels... More

Tucked into the side of the hill at the Mid-Levels, this is a good choice if you want simple, clean, accommodation in Hongkers. Easy to reach by the escalators. Also easy walk down to the park and into Central. Unfussy staff verge on cool but efficient at all they do.

Bishop Lei International House is located is such that you can walk down to the markets, to nearby wonderful restaurants and easy access to public transportation. The hotel is pleasant with suites that include a sofa, chairs and table with the bedroom with floor to ceiling windows. Breakfast had delicious local food as well as some western foods.

Despite being in Central, Bishop Lei is situated in Mid-Levels which is a much more calmer district. The size of the bathroom was just too small. The reception desk was all over the place but somehow always got it together. The shuttle bus is a bonus and came into use just once.
