I stayed at Bishop Lei for the entire month of January 2015, having stayed at the nearby Garden View for three weeks during the previous month. The following words should be a helpful guide to those weighing up between the two options. Location-wise, the hotel is fairly convenient. It's located in the Mid-Levels area, directly up the hill from Central,... More

I checked in around 5pm on the 15th of Feb and a touch disappointed that my usual upgrade to a suite didn't happen but I have been very luck on many visits so nothing to complain about. I went to the JCC for dinner which is always great as Sunday evening is BBQ night. The double room is a little... More

The hotel is a little out of the way, however it is close to the Mid Levels escalator with easy access to Soho and other areas. The hotel shuttle goes down to Central and the one driver is a host of information. There are several places to eat close by. The rooms are well appointed and immaculate .My only caveat... More

Good location on Hong Kong Island very close to the area of Soho which is a great to go out and eat and also have a night out drinking (if you can afford it!). I did enjoy also just walking around this area and taking it in. The hotel itself is of a decent standard for the money paid. Breakfast... More

My husband, grown up son and I spent three nights in a Grand Harbour View Suite and yes, the rooms are small, but managed very well. The view was fantastic and, in our mid sixties, we were able to walk to many sites including the ferry to the Star Ferry and Peak tram. We ate in the restaurant one night,... More

Hotel has clean and big room compare to other hotels in the city, but it is far from the city. Shuttle bus to MTR is provided. Hotel staffs are helpful and very kinds, they can give you useful information, please ask. Housekeepers always smile when they meet you anywhere.

Size wasn't an issue for me at the Bishop Lei, as the room was adequate and the living area was nice sized. Everything feels old and there is a distant smell of smoke, I imagine from days when rooms allowed smoking. I was there in early February and it felt damp and cold, I ended up sleeping with clothes my... More

Seems to be really nice hotel for short staying in Hongkong. Elevators are nearby and it's the most attractive feature of this hotel except the prices =) Very small rooms. Very expensive minibar. Awful internet WiFi connection. Bishop Lei staff is the best. Reception, room clearing staff are super. So if you have not lot of money and don't plan... More

This hotel photograghs better that it actually is .The rooms were too small to fit in one piece of luggage and a set of golf clubs . I had to pay extra to upgrade to a suite..a bit out of the way as well . Not my favourite place I had stayed.

Clean, compact rooms (it is Hong Kong!) in a great location in Mid-Levels, with Soho and Central an easy walk down the hill. All the stuff you need for a good stay -- decent AC and wifi, good bathroom. Breakfast (not included in the price) is perfectly decent. Fantastic value for Hong Kong, particularly given the central location. I recommend... More
