We stopped over on our way to Australia and unfortunately during this time the hotel was undergoing major renovation which caused inconvenience for guests. The lobby was virtually non existent and cramped. Waiting time at the reception was long at check in and check out although the staff were doing their best to ease the same. Rooms could have been... We like staying at the Park Lane for its proximity to the subway, good restaurants and shopping. We have always preferred Causeway Bay to TST, hence our choice of hotel here. The park lane has undergone renovations through the years, and we are pleased that they do so regularly to keep the hotel updated and clean. A plus is the... More

The location is excellent. Service was very good. Friendly staff. The ongoing renovation however ruined everything. The lobby was a mess. It was quite noisy during daytime with all the pounding & drilling going on. Hope it is done by now.

Went with my husband on a business/sports trip. The HK National Swim Open was held at the pool at Victoria Park so it was just a good 8-10 minutes walk from the hotel. Our room was overlooking the Victoria Park, quite relaxing in fact. The room was clean, service was really great. When a front office staff noticed the queue... More

Very very good location! Located at causeway bay. 2min walk to mrt! Lots of shopping around and restaurant. Near sogo and Times Square. Room consider very spacious in Hong Kong. Nice choice of breakfast. Love their porridge. The only downside is the price. Quite expensive but overall is good. Keep it up.

We stayed at the Parklane HK yesterday, though my wife and I only stayed for one night, but the experience is out of expectation. The location is definitely convenient, easy for us to access everywhere, but hotel is under renovation. What I really care is, the service is not affected by the renovation. The staffs are very nice and I... More

Stayed here for one night en route another country. The hotel is conveniently located in Causeway Bay, which is pretty much the shopping and dining hub on Hong Kong island. The place has recently been refurbished and rebranded a Pullman hotel. The room is fairly elementary in its decor and offerings and would suit visitors on a tight budget. Plenty... More

Check-In was handled quickly, though the entrance of the hotel and appearance of the lobby looked a bit shabby due to the renovation work going on. As a Platinum Accor member, we were given a credit for the minibar instead of a welcome drink, fine by me. Luggage delivery and any questions we may have had were handled promptly by... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
