Stayed there for a week during a business training in HK. Overall the room was good. Location of this hotel is excellent right in the middle of causewaybay. With Fashionwalk, bars, restaurants and supermarkets stone's throw away. BUT the view outside the window. Zzzzzzzz it faces the back of some old condos. Not very well maintained. All those water marks... More

Our stay at the Park Lane was comfortable and welcoming. The entire team from Doormen and Reception to Bar and Room Service were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is a little dated - with shower over a 3/4 size bath, but the water pressure is excellent, amenities of good quality and rooms are comfortable and on the large side... More

As ever I had a very warm welcome from Elle who took care of all my travel needs in a very efficient way. The exec floor works very well with all the boys and girls making me feel very welcome, always on hand to ask if you need a coffee or cold drink. The rooms are always very clean and... More

- Rooms are extremely loud, maybe I am unlucky but I already had to change room as it is just too noisy, one can hear the whole conversation of the neighbors. When calling the front desk they did not call back or send someone (as promised) - In the morning music from the park can be heard clearly and loudly... More

Check-in and Check-out process took a very long time. Hotel Front-Desk staff inefficient. Room carpet has a bad smell. Bathroom tiles are dirty with mildew. The only advantage is proximity to MTR station. But paying over US$300 for a room is not worth it. I have been to better hotels for less money.

Stayed at Parklane for 4 days. Clean comfortable rooms. Wide range of channels on TV. Prompt service when called for housekeeping. Very close to subway station & shopping malls. Excellent buffet spread for all main meals, money's worth. The restaurant had great service too. Service staff were very alert to customers and were able to anticipate needs. Staff at hotel... More

This is the second time to this hotel and it does not disappoint. Located right across from Victoria Park and accessible to superb shopping this is an ideal location. We took the train in from the airport and transferred to the hotel shuttle all for the cost of $13 Canadian equivalent. North American cities have a lot to learn about... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
