Outside the hotel there is the main tram line for $2.30(hk) about 30 cents US, you can ride it from one end to the other. A very cheap ride to see the sites if you ride on the upper deck. The hotel itself is a bit old, but the staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet special was okay but... More

Stay here for 11 nights during my business trip in Jan. Location is a distance away from major hotspots on Hongkong and Kowloon island. Nothing much at night around this area and nearest mall is at Taikoo Place. Decent hotel nothing much to shout about, very near to MTR station (Quarry Bay). Room is neat and clean though looks a... I enjoyed the hotel. The rooms are a little dated. The beds are comfortable. And ok size for Hk. I travel with kids a lot (not this trip) and it would be hard to add am extra bed. You could fit a pack and play. The breakfast is ok. The bacon was not great and for me that makes a... More

This hotel was disappointing. For a start - there is no free WiFi in the hotel. The hotel expected guests to pay approximately $20USD just for the privilege of using their WiFi. In this day and age, when there is free WiFi in every mall and coffee shop (and every other hotel, even basic guesthouses!!!), it is not acceptable to... More

Stayed at Harbour Plaza, North Point in early Feb 2014. Aptly located near all conveniences mostly next to Quarry Bay metro station and having everything that a business traveler looks forward to makes it one of the most sought after hotels for those travelling to Hong Kong/ Kowloon.

This hotel is in the business area, and so caters for the businessman or woman. The rooms are small to the point of being cramped. Breakfast was an extra, as was the wifi. I considered 130 $HK to be exhorbitant for 24 contiguous hours, given that nowadays free wifi is a given in most places, from hotels to coffee bars,... More

We stayed here for two nights and thought the hotel quite good. It would be a good hotel for families as they have apartment style rooms. The buffet breakfast had plenty of selections and I especially liked the omelette station. I found that they change some of the choices on offer daily. The rooms were a little tired but clean.... Good value. Good size room very clean, very attentive and friendly staff. Very comfortable beds, great sleep..... difficult to fault really. WiFi is not great in the rooms, apart from that no complaints. Location is good for the metro but not really a tourist area.

Our first impressions of this hotel was good, however on booking in we found the staff to be rude and condescending. Our room was a nice size with a decent enough view (Which we paid extra for) and came with a small kitchenette, but no cutlery/crockery etc When we asked at reception we were bluntly informed that they didn't provide... Just left the hotel this morning after a 5 day stay. Good price, shame about no free wifi, given that almost every other establishment in Hong Kong offers free wifi. Ate once in the evening at the hotel, ok, but a bit bland. Had breakfast once, again, just ok. If you are prepared to venture into the area (very local,... More
