Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Very good location and very well maintained hotel. I had a room on the 31st floor and had amazing views. The room was on the small side but everything needed was available. Beware of the breakfast which consists of barely cooked eggs and noodles. Hotel is close to central station so easily accessible... Good Stay @ Hotel, But it is on the other side,& majorly my work was towards Nathan street so found it very difficult & expensive to travel towards that side of the town. Hotel was nice & can stay only concerns i have shared earlier.

Free breakfast and wifi. That's all I need when I'm here to visit the city while staying connected to family and friends. I was surprised with a room upgrade to a high floor. The view was great and we caught a mini light show every night while relaxing in our room after a long day of being all over the... More

The hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable, the staff is nice. If you have booked a promotion, you may need to remind them of it. The breakfast is poor / not good. It is fairly close from the HK ferry terminal. Overall, a good place to crash and have a shower.

Dear DamienBE, It is our pleasure to know that you treasured our advantages, such as the cleanliness of the room, location and our easy access to downtown (e.g. Sheung Wan MTR station, Hong Kong Macau Ferry, free shuttle to Airport Express station, etc…). Whereas, it is deeply regret that we were not able to address your expectation of breakfast. We... More

We had a bit of a hard time finding the location of the hotel from the ferry terminal but once we found it getting to and from the terminal was easy. The Sheung Wan Mtr station is close by and the hotel is near several shops and restaurants. The rooms are average size but the hotel lobby is small. As... More

in older part of HongKong but easy to get to via MRT and H1 shuttle. Hotel is clean and comfortable with only slightly discerning feature being the warning about not drinking the water. Restaurant attached served adequate breakfast. Staff were very helpful and polite. In summary, well priced, good location, clean and comfortable

We have stayed at many of the fancy hotels on Hong Kong Island and Kowloon side and were coming to Hong Kong with many activities on the Hong Kong Island side and no longer on an expense account. We tried the relatively new Holiday Inn Express, which says it is in SOHO (south of Hollywood Road) in Hong Kong, which... More

Stayed here for 6 nights, the hotel is in a great spot and the staff were helpful. Doesn't look very central on the map but it's only a short walk to a stack of decent restaurants and the MTR station is just around the corner, which in HK is incredibly useful as you can get almost anywhere with the MTR... I was here just one night on business but was content with the hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the location is very good. Within a 20 second walk of McDonalds if you need that fix, or many other good quality restaurants nearby. A nice, old Chinese temple is a short walk away and worth visiting. Although... More

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Soho in Hong Kong for a duration of 4 nights. The hotel is well located in Hong Kong, very close to Sheung Wan metro station and about 20 minutes by foot from the business center of HK. Rooms are quite new and very clean, however they are small. The hotel is very... More

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighborhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
