Stayed here for 6 nights, the hotel is in a good area to get around, not far from transport. The rooms are small like in Europe, but have everything you need. They are clean and you get two different pillow types to choose from, the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast wasn't that good with not much choice and... More

Hotel is in good location at HK, MTR is 2 min walk and 700 mtr from Macau ferry terminal. All types of restaurants are very near by, staffs are very professional and well behaved, rooms are small but very clean and with almost all modern facilities. Breakfast is free but it is better to avoid because it is same menu... More

I stayed in this hotel for 4 days in May 2015 and would highly recommend it. The hotel's location is great. It is a 5 minute walk to the subway and there are a lot of restaurants and shops close to the hotel, including a 7 Eleven, McDonald's, Subway and some great local restaurants (such as a fantastic crepe restaurant... We stayed here one night. I couldn't really fault this place - especially after we were upgraded. And the breakfast is far better than many of the reviews indicate - I was expecting the basic offering you would get in a UK Holiday Inn Express, but what we got was comparatively lavish. It ticks the boxes when it comes to... More

Spent three nights in this hotel which is ideally situated to explore Hong Kong Island. Staff very helpful especially in dishing out umbrellas to guests who otherwise would be walking in the rain! Hotel restaurant very busy at breakfast time.

Has everything you might need, but not everything you would want. Absolutely minimal human intervention. Self-service all the way round, down to airport style luggage trolleys to shift the stuff yourself. Unfortunately, those trolleys don't help you to get luggage up the stairs at the entrance of the hotel. Amazingly, no ramp. There is a lift for the handicapped, but... More

The hotel is conveniently located at the central district making our commute less of a hassle. The metro station is about 10 min walk from the hotel. The rooms were really small and I wasn't fond of the bathroom at all, for it being see thru. Breakfast was mediocre. They had the same selection everyday. Although my husband enjoyed the... More

I stayed here over a weekend and found the place to be very central. It was 5 min walk to Sheung Wan metro stop, also you can walk underground to the HK/Macau ferry terminal. Close walk to shops and night life. The staff were really nice and efficient, nothing was a problem, which was awesome as that sort of service... More

My secretary snagged a really great online deal for a room for a quick trip to HK. I wanted to try a business hotel and a bunch of my meetings were nearby so I thought I'd give it a try. The hotel is definitely all business. Rooms are small but clean (hotel is only a couple of years old), staff... More

Not a bad hotel with a reasonable price, the room size was small but good by Hong Kong standards. Staff was nice and the breakfast was just ok, more Asian than international. the location was good, with many good restaurants a short walking distance away , go up to Hollywood road and turn left.

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighborhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
