When we first walked into the building we were a bit shocked, you get swarmed by people trying to sell you "copy watch, weed, hashish". The building itself looks horrible and you have to go up a creepy elevator thinking you'll get robbed any second. In the end it wasn't a that bad though. Even though the rooms and beds... More

Our stay there last may 2-6 was nice, the room was good enough for us, it was clean, the service staff was helpful. They (staff) helped us with everything that we needed. Overflowing coffee and tea also. My elderly companion was in need of a wheelchair, they just didn't provided us with phone nos. but also sent one of their... More

It is a mansion with a few blocks together. You'll be definitely confused especially the lift. There's two lift to one block. One lift takes you to all even number floors. The other to all odd numbers floors.I was shocked by the behaviour of the receptionist when I arrived. He gave me a couldn't be bother attitude and took his own sweet time to write... I booked this hotel because of the location & the good size of rooms for triple. When we checked in, I realized that ALL PICTURES IN booking.com ARE NOT REAL. I was too exhausted to complain for the first night. The rooms are small and dirty. The shower door is broken. The faucet & shower are leaking that we cannot... More

Decent enough service, clean but cramped rooms with good beds. The ensuite showers are tiny. Chungking mansions, the building in which this hostel is located, and many others, is home to a host of foreign, many technically illegal, visitors from Africa, India and east Asia. The first few floors are a typical Asian bazaar. Oppressive, with everything available. This hostel... More

Upon entering the Chungking "mansions" it is pretty overwhelming, knowing which elevator to get would have definitely helped. When you walk in, turn right then left and catch the elevator up to the 10th floor. As for the room, they're very small but clean and have a kettle and safe. Reception also offer complimentary tea and coffee and they have... More

I booked at Days Hotel in Chungking Mansions because of the price. Upon arrival, I was surprised at the number of small shops available on the ground floor. There was a large number of currency exchange shops and the merchants and food stands were predominantly South Asian so unless you are used to Indian/Pakistani/Middle Eastern food, be careful what you... Very small rooms, but are clean. Located in a guesthouse building (Chunking Mansions), whose ground floor is located in a market, reminding us more Middle East and India than Hong-Kong. Surprising, but safe !; This hostel or guesthouse, (I don't know) is good value for money
