We stayed here for 3 nights last Apr. 2-5, 2014. It was quite difficult for us to book rooms because we are a group of 13. We separated accommodations, the others stayed in Kyoto Guesthouse while the four of us were here in New China. Since this is Hongkong, expect the guest houses, hostels and inns to be small. We... small room (as expected), but it was nice, with bathroom. close to MTR station, bus stop, star ferry pier, avenue of stars, restaurants, shopping area, etc. Elevator building is very small, often have to queue.

The only problems I found with this property was the fact the downstairs smelled terrible and the elevators can take a while to use and be quite crowded. Also you only get maybe 15 liters of hot water before the water becomes cold. The room is small but any room you get in Hong Kong is going to be small. Even... More

After some minor difficulties finding the right elevator, I was welcomed by the manager who took good care of me. The room is small (as always in Hong Kong), but was clean and bed comfortable. It was very quiet too, despite the bustling area.

already stayed here twice, agree - nothing to shout about but serves the purpose. only stayed on the single bedroom type and its quite small not ideal for western body types but suits asian well. near the symphony of lights, star ferry, avenue of stars.

Very polite and helpful owner, she helped us out at a time of emergency and was sweet to ask after us the next day. The room was tidy, small, and ok clean wise, could do with an update maybe? Bathroom was quite outraged, making it look grubby, and also not in great repair. I don't think you can get much... More

We booked this hotel via agoda and stayed in HK from 24-28th October 2013..Im not sure the reason but we actually had been asked to move to Harbour Guest House in 4th Floor,Block B with no charges. We got no problem for that and indeed we were happy since it is in lower floor and in front of the guest house... I stayed here just last week, September 11-13, 2013, with my boyfriend. Contrary to other reviews for this guesthouse, we actually found our stay here pleasant. You get what you pay for. The location of Chung King Mansion is amazing. In the center of Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, near the posh malls and stores. A McDonald's branch is just... More

A lot of comments here are very bad but I think I should give the guesthouse some unbiased review. It is very simple, "You get what you pay for" and in that case, it's just a bed, a tiny bedside table, an old TV and a very small bath area.I would recommend this only to the "cowboy" type who doesnt... First of all the hostel is located inside shady bazar like chungking manssion "mall" and its extremely hard to find. So if you book this hostel prepare to search it. The owner has outsourced the management to couple of african guys who where nice but not aware about your booking. Also they are not always there on the spot and... More
