Good little Hotel. Good rooms and good location. Try there other hotel first (V Wanchai 2) but this is only round the corner and nearly as good. Good value rooms and good size too. Try a serviced apartment if you are staying for an length of time.

Checked in there with no issue at all. It was smooth checking in but during different times of the day, the reception staff on duty spoke only Cantonese. So, it was rather difficult to communicate. That said, they were polite and very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Plenty of space, by HK standards. I stayed for 5 nights, it... More

It's super convince to stop at the Exhibition Hall and not far from Wan Chai Station, 7 -Eleven is near by and lots of local restaurants. No breakfast provided but free wifi. Staff is super nice and friendly. If you have kids or baby, it will be pretty comfortable as the room space is quite big. It's just 2 stations from... More

The V Wanchai is in a good central location. It is not really fancy, but is clean and furnishings are good. We upgraded on checking in and the upgrade was more like an apartment, than traditional hotel room. Includes fridge so easy to buy own sodas and beers to keep cold. The staff was friendly. Went for business and stayed... More

Pleasantly surprised! It is more like an apartment than a hotel room. Fridge, stove, kitchen utensils, bar area for eating. We were upgraded to a terrace room. The glass doors fully opened up to our own private terrace with a table, chairs and umbrella. Lovely! Modern styling with updated bathroom with a rain shower. Staff VERY helpful and accommodating. I stayed here just one night (11th March 2015) whilst passing through HK on a business trip. I have stayed at many hotels in Hong Kong and this has to be one of the largest rooms that I've had, it was more like an apartment. The facilities were superb and it had a kitchen, breakfast/dining bar, sofa, TV, loads of... More

such a terrible hotel! Checked in today and hopefully will find another hotel in a couple of days. It looks nothing like the pictures they put online. Room is run down, would certainly need a makeover, mold and mildew in the bathroom, kitchen cabinets are stained, bedside table covered in dust, bedsheets broken... The whole room looks quite depressing. Don't... More

Chose this hotel based on size of the room (3 times the space compared to alternative hotels). It was in a convenient location, Wanchai, so that fit the bill. Very pleased with the modern fit out of the room which included a kitchen area. I have to say that it is the first HK hotel we have stayed in where... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
