Lovely, spacious apartments on Jaffe Rd. Close to Wan Chai station and really everything. We mostly supported the little café around the corner - selling fresh fruit and coldrink. Loved the purple building. Stands out. So quiet. You can really sleep peacefully. Friendly staff and always ready to help with finding a taxi or directions to visitors sites. Huge bedroom... More

Location is easy to find. Lots of restaurant nearby. I am amazed by the hotel lobby. It is nice and funky. The room is nice and clean. We have booked a deluxe studio. We are kinda amazed with the interior design as well. Good for a long staying even tho we just stay for a night. I'll definitely recommend this... More

The hotel was comfortably tucked in a peaceful corner of wanchai, yet still easily accessible frm the mtr. What i loved was not having to dodge people while moving in/out of there. Moreover the rooms were incredibly spacious, unlike most of hk, so worth it!! Every room also comes with a data mobile which really helps cause i dont have... More

Surprisingly spacious room, more an apartment than a hotel. Kitchen etc basic but adequate, a bit more equipment would have been useful. The position is very central for all Hong Kong island attractions. We found the staff very friendly, and helpful at every turn. We would stay again in the future.

Well maintained, friendly staff, reasonable rates and right in the middle of it all. Most enjoyable as long as one "goes with the flow" - this isn't the Grand Hyatt! Top tip: the rooms higher up are slightly nicer.

A great option for Hong Kong, whcih is famous for overpriced hotels with tiny rooms. Here we've got a 50+ sq. meters room with a kitchenette(microwave, tableware, etc) and a bathtub. Located just 10 mins walk from MTR - lot's of food/shopping/drink options in the area. Superfast check-in. Liked the modern design too.

Another hotel under the V hotel group's umbrella Room is clean and very spacious for hongkong standard and very well equipped. this place is more like an apartment rather than a hotel. they have a small pantry with microwave and eating utensil. We stayed at this place in May 2014

The cab driver took an extra round, and even you are in front, you will go on searchin it. Each floor with just 2 rooms - is a typically HK appearance...for tiny hotels.... but the rooms are quite comfi and not small. All you need is in, well designed. We like!

This is a basic hotel. Rooms are pleasant with comfy bed, good tv and microwave. Rooms on the first floor are larger. Can be tricky to find as has only a small street frontage. No restaurant or breakfast available. One staff member manning the front desk who spoke very little English.

I couldn't be more satisfied with the hotel. The location is great, you're less than five minutes' walk from exit A1 of MTR Wanchai so you're only a train ride away to shopping, food and other Hong Kong action (but Wanchai is a great area for all, too!). The service is great as well. We were treated very well from... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
