I stayed a few nights here in March and it was OK. From reading lots of reviews of other places too, if you are on a budget you will be getting a very small room in HK. This place is no different and was expected before I arrived. It took me a while to find the hotel, but that was... More

the inner part of the hotel is pleasant & clean, however the balcony is being wasted as there are big noise and oily smell coming from a vent beside... they are very strong that you can terribly feel it just downstairs before going up the balcony. so not recommend to travellers who need fresh & clean air. but i can't... This hotel is very close to the nathan road which is a decent location. But it is on the first floor without any elevators. No one to pick ur luggage through a narrow staircase. The room is very small with a very small toilet that too with frost glass instead of walls. It gives u access to wifi and has... More

- it is tough to find a 3 pax hotel in HK, especially if there is a budget constraint, galaxy wifi has a room for 3 - it is very small, but it is HK - very conveniently located next to Yau Ma Tei MRT - toilet glass wall is semi transparent, so beware :P - room cleaned daily. friendly... More

Booking this hotel after reading reviews on tripadvisor. Well, the room is very small. Coffee maker, hot and cold water are provided. Hk map is provided too... The location is convenient. From airport, take Bus A21 HK$33 , stop at Station No.9. You may tell the bus driver which hotel you stay, and he will tell you which stop you... More

Friendly lady, kept persisting in helping with my heavy 25kg luaggage up the stairs and even during checkout, when she is of much older age than me. Room is tiny, but clean, great for folks who just wana hit a night sleep and out to walk around and shop. Our room even came with a Desktop, though you might be... More

The Booking; Booked on line. They did honour the booking without sending me off to a sister hotel like many hotels do. The Location; In the thick of it all. Step out and you are in the heavily populated area of Kowloon. There are endless eateries close by that start serving eats and food at six in the morning right up... More

The hotel is just located in between Wangkok and Yau ma tei (both within walking distance). Very convenient for shopping and dining. The staff are friendly, they gave me detailed info on where to shop, cheapest route to get to the ocean park and airport. Lots of info were given. Just the matter that the internet connection sometimes didn't work... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighborhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighborhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighborhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
