It was an OK experience overall, we enjoyed it. I can confidently recommend if you are after "value for money" choices. Location is very good, we had an interesting view from the window - different height neibouring buildings and a bit of water, staff is very service oriented, all the basics are in place incl even small but functional fitness... I originally had booked here through a third party website (agoda), as part of the contract made at the time of booking there were no changes and no refunds. However I ended up needing to change my reservation from 3 days to 2, and while the third party service would not allow changes, when I contacted the hotel directly they... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights here at the start of our honeymoon. It's a great base to explore HK being walking distance of SoHo and just off the Hollywood Road. There are some great looking bars and restaurants very close by. Our room was a suite, possibly the smallest suit I've stayed in but that really wasn't an... More

To find a hotel in the centre of HK at this price and of this quality is remarkable. Welcoming reception, a well equipped, quite and reasonably comfy room (would have loved a larger duvet) , and a good breakfast. Lovely range of toiletries, dressing gowns, slippers, bottled water, coffee etc, Would recommend and stay again.

we have never travelled east before and found the whole experience quite daunting. The moment we set foot in LBP Hotel we felt welcomed and at ease. Nothing was a problem and the restaurant attached is brilliant. If there is an observation it would be that service was too good. Maybe they werent busy enough in january. Rolly and Pepsi... More

Due to some construction in the room above us we were offered alternate accommodations or a free night and other goodies. We chose the free night and really did not have a problem with the noise as we were out most of the day. Staff was lovely and helpful. Location was great; not that far from metro and close to... The hotel locates at one of the oldest region in HK. Queen's Road West was one of the Chinese immigrants'(many of them from 潮州Chiu Chow, Chiu Chow food is a must-try by the way) settlements in the early years. On the way from the Sheung Wan MTR station to Hotel LBP, you may pass by Bonham Strand, Wing Lok Street,... More

Based on Tripadvisor reviews we booked the LBP hotel and we had a wonderful stay in Hong Kong. We booked a business suite as it comes with a separate small living area that is quite nice to relax in after a long dat out. We had a room on the 18th floor (street side) with a door that opened to... More

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighborhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
