I did thorough research on Hong Kong hotel options and decided to choose Hotel LBP for the cost and the outstanding reviews. All in all, I was satisfied. However, it is important to keep this hotel in context. LBP is good but this is certainly not a five star experience. The positives: convenient location, solid breakfasts included with room, decent... More

This hotel is close to,public transport, has amazing service and the staff can't do enough to help. There are many eateries close by and each room has a fridge and kettle. You can even get a complimentary coffee on the 4th floor after your busy day out and about. Beds at comfortable and breakfast is good. GReat place for singles,... More

I have been visiting Hong Kong for 10 years. My budget is around $150 US per night. This place is by far the best overall hotel I have visited. Hotel has better internet, better bed sheets, better cable TV, heck-they have better toilet paper. The workout room is not great and the lobby is nothing to write home about but... More

My partner and I stayed at LBP for four nights in March and had a great stay. We had booked a normal room, but ended up in a two-bedroom suite, which was a really nice surprise. The room had loads of space, including a little breakfast table and a big fridge where we could keep snacks/food supplies. There was wifi... More

We were shocked by this hotel. Located right next to a newly opened metro station and at the end of Hollywood road, this hotel was priced below average for Hong Kong yet provided a great room with breakfast included. Only a few minutes' walk to the metro, seconds from the ding ding (the tram), and close to plenty of restaurants... More

The hotel is ok. It is a bit off-putting because it is just some floors in an office block. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is on Hong Kong Island but in an area that is mainly Chinese. There are a few small supermarkets and cafes around but it is only about 15 minutes walk to more westernised... More

We stayed 2 nights in this small cozy hotel. The location is perfect to visit HK near the bus station that allows you to travel from airport to the hotel very cheap 40 HKD per person, the subway is Aldo very near. The rooms are quite big for HK standards, the breakfast is average, the staff very friendly and helpfull.... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night in March after leaving a cruise. This hotel stay was great! The staff there was very wonderful. They were friendly and welcoming. The room looked exactly as pictured. Somewhat small but was able to house myself and my friend's three suitcases and backpacks. If you are traveling with a friend, the bathroom... More

We just got back from staying at this quaint hotel just west of downtown Hong Kong. The room was small but very comfortable. The staff could no have been any nicer. They offered us umbrellas on a rainy day and great tour advice. We had a terrific complementary breakfast at the very cute restaurant. The dinner there is terrific too! We... More

Stayed 2 night, the hotel is a bit further than central but still within walking distance. Room was spacious by HK standards. Breakfast was included and though limited was enjoyable. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The one thing that could be improved is the equipment in the gym. It was very limited.

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighborhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
