I booked a Luxury room, there was nothing luxurious about it. The room was tiny, and the bathroom had no storage for your products. I came back to my room at 4pm one day and the room had not been serviced yet. The hotel is two stops from central, and not an ideal location. Breakfast is ordinary with toast, fruit... More

A beautiful hotel in near central Hong Kong. The breakfast is lovely we recommend the Dim Sum breakfast. Local culture combined with modern restaurants and bars. Get the train in from the airport and make sure you have a map or full address to show your taxi driver!

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Our vacation unfortunately began travel difficulties and a canceled flight from the U.S., but the hotel staff was very understanding and accommodating, especially given our very late arrival. The hotel is sort of removed from popular tourist attractions; however, with the fantastic public transportation system this really is not an issue. We... More

Central location, nice rooms, affordable. What more can u ask for? Breakfast is included plus there is also a small pantry with fruit, sweets, muffins and coffee all day. The only issue is that the restaurant that serves breakfast is very small and we had to wait in a queue to have breakfast

We stayed for 4 nights in June of this year. It is a small hotel located in an old neighbourhood. The hotel itself have mixed floors… some floors are hotel and some floors are rental office. There is nothing nearby except store selling Chinese dried seafood and residential apartments. It is 10 minute walk to the closest MTR station, 5... More

We stayed one night in that small hotel in Hong Kong and thought it was excellent. It is more a business/modern hotel (so not much character) but really nicely done and very comfortable. The area is close to the Metro and it is really quiet. The only negative was the breakfast was very basic. The staff was very helpful and the place... More

Travelled in June 2015. Stayed for 3 nights in Hong Kong as a stopover from Sydney to Europe. Selected LBP Hotel based on reviews and wasn't disappointed. Booked a room on a higher floor (18th) which had been recently remodelled, housed in the Hollywood Centre a small building that originally comprised offices that have mostly been converted to hotel rooms.... General all round good base to return to after a hard days tourism!! Plenty of space, nice shower, good breakfast, convenient location. Good value 😀 would recommend so long as you're not wanting to spend lots of time in your room!

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighborhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
