We stayed for several day in March 2015 in this hotel. It was a good pick. It's hard to find decent hotel in Hong Kong in a short notice for decent price. And we were lucky that there were two rooms available for our dates in LBP. Everything was right for us. Breakfast was good. Rooms were clean and functional.... More

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of rooms and the facilities which for the price were very good although the bolt on the door to the balcony appeared broken so I did wonder how easy it would be for my 'neighbours' to get into my room if they wanted to. I was not familiar with the area and nor... More

It is the first time for me to stay at this hotel. I found the location of the hotel was not bad at all. Within minutes of walk, you may go to every site of tourist interest by bus, by trolley or by subway. The hotel staff were the most friendly people in the world, especially Pepsi. She is very... This hotel is spacious for a place like HK. The decor is modern and the bathroom is great. The only drawback is of course the troublesomeness if you were to lug your luggages from the nearest MTR station to the hotel. It is not a long distance by walking, but with luggages in the day, it would not be a... More

Like others have said, the rooms here are on the small size but very modern and clean. The beds are a little hard but I had no problem sleeping on them. I was on the third floor and reception was on the forth floor. Reception is very helpful, they actually helped me print up my boarding pass when I was... More

We stayed here at the end of April 2015 for 5 nights as the reviews were pretty good. Location: not bad, about 5 minute walk to Sheung Wan MTR and taxi ride to Central was about 5 min drive. Other than that there's not a lot on the street other than herbal shops. Room: we booked a business suite and... More

Hotel was fairly well located for most things. Tube station Sheung Wan is an easy walk. Also Hollywood Road is just across the road - just follow this road and you'll end up towards antique shops and the western bars in the evening. There is a handy supermarket right next to the hotel and a decent local restaurant nearly opposite... More

This hotel is great for couples who don't need to hangout at their hotels for too long. Great service and excellent location. 4min walk to the nearest metro station or tram lines. The room is small but has everything you need, we had a great view from our room. 10min walk to Soho bars and restaurants with a great local... More

The Hotel LBP is a great value in Hong Kong. The island can be very expensive and this hotel provides a modern and clean room for a good price. The hotel is located walking distance to many great restaurants and shops. If you like to wander the streets and shop you will love this location. Start by walking down Hollywood... More

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighborhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
