Stayed for the weekend at the Bauhinia on Connaught and wasn't disappointed. Very clean and tidy, nice rooms, great bathrooms (small) and all of the usual in-room facilities. Well located for Lan Kwai Fung (10 mins walk) with many buses and trams right outside on the main road. Breakfast wasn't expected but we were offered a selection of pastries, coffee,... More

Stayed here for three days. Very friendly reception. 24/7 open. No complaints really. Reasonably priced. Beds are not overly large but are okay. Bathroom small but clean and with all possible amenities. Did not take breakfast in hotel. To many alternative places for breakfast in the area. Is truly close by Hong Kong station which is at the end of... More

I stayed here twice (different weeks) during a trip to mainland China. Good reasonably priced hotels are not so eay to find and this one ticks all the boxes for the business traveller or a short stay leisure break. The staff are very polite and helpful, the rooms are comfortable with free WIFI and it's located very close by to... More

Very good value/comfort for visiting Fairs; large room with iron and ironing desk, working desk, kettle and tea/coffee. Breakfast was not included but light snacks was serviced in Executive lounge which easily replaced breakfast and afternoon tea. And served for free, yes. Good mattresses, good sound insulating windows (but not forget to close them fully before sleep). Had road view... More

Getting a descent reasonably priced Hotel in HK is difficult. This one ticks the boxes. Great service booked in early without a glitch and received an upgrade!!! Very helpful staff. Nearby metro and central to most attractions. A Lounge with refreshments (pastries coffee) for free. Stable and fast wi-fi!

On all 4 stars. Good place in center of city, near to the metro station, one minute walk. A spacious, clean room. And kindly staff. But have minus - very noisy conditioner. And one advice: if you'll pay for the room by the card, be sure you have enough and more money for that.

in Hong Kong and want a central but not expensive hotel The Barhunia is great. Rooms not as small as some of the more trendy hotels in the area and perfectly clean. corridors and lobby a little dated but if you are just there to sleep this is great choice.

We arrived for a month long stay at the Bauhinia apartments after a very journey and with six bags as we commenced our move to Hong Kong. We were provided with what a room on the 13th floor having opted for the "plus size" room and a washing machine. The room was old and very poorly equipped. Uncomfortable old couch.... More

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighborhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
