The hotel like most budget hotels or hostels in Hong Kong is located in a mansion. The bedding was clean, it had a hot shower, located right next to the mtr and a short walk to everything else in mong kok. I have stayed in a different hotel in this same building that was a lot worse than this. To... More

We planed to stay for 5 nights. We found the "Guest house" in the Internet for very good price, so we decided to go there. We arrived very late and the staff was very friendly to us. She gave us some fresh washed towels which had some interesting color ( far away from original white ;) Then we arrived to... More

This is the worst hotel ever stayed. ・The room was no clean ・Disgusting bad smell from bathroom ・Cigarette ash on the bathroom ・Cold shower ・Electric outlets got wet by unknown liquid(discharged water dripping outside window?) ・Seemed No wi-fi in the building(No instructions there. And reception was too far) ・Smell from beds. ・Staff was not friendly (After check-in, we were taken... More

Cheap and most excellent location for seeing Hong Kong. This guesthouse is very near D2 exit of Mongkok MTR and is surrounded by a lot of eateries. It is walking distance to Ladies Market, Fa Yuen street and Tong Choi street etc. Towels, soap, shampoo and even drinking water are provided. Wifi is strong even in the rooms. But this... More

Like everything in Hong Kong expensive (but the cheapest option) And small. Expect the worst and you will be pleasantly surprised. The room contains of a bed and small bathroom. It's not so clean but there were no dirty animals or anything. The location is perfect for seeing Hong Kong. It is in the centre of Kowloon with a metro... More

So bad that it doesn't even deserve a One In the rating!! My children and I arrived to a disgusting smell - so revolting that we almost vomited! The building looks like it is in the slums of India. Dripping pipes and filthy walls. Half dressed, Dirty old men staring as we walked past - I felt very unsafe being... More

Staying in Mong Kok

Neighborhood Profile
Mong Kok
It’s one of the highest density districts in the world, so come to Mong Kok prepared for action. Home to every market, restaurant and shopping arcade imaginable, Mong Kok is the one-stop shop to satisfy all your shopping needs. Dust off your finest negotiation skills and dive into the bartering frenzy. Similar retailers will conveniently congregate in the same area forming easy to remember references such as “flower street” and “sneakers street.” Here you will also find various local delicacies being served at street snack shops or hole-in-the-wall restaurants. One reliable rule of thumb: the smaller the place, the better the food.
