I booked a superior double room which was a reasonable size, however the decor (eg. the walls and cupboards) looked a bit worn out. The room was on the 4th floor and there was a bit of noise coming from downstairs. Staff at reception were helpful and professional. The hotel is conveniently located in Causeway Bay with Victoria Park opposite,... More

We had a number of rooms booked for a long term business trip. The V is well located in Causeway Bay: easy MTR, bus, tram and taxi connections. Its minutes from Happy Valley, Wan Chain or Central. The apartments vary dramatically in size but all seem to be of similar quality. They contain enough to survive (such as a TV... More

Staying at present, in three rooms with family. +s it is clean; it is in a good location -s Everything seems a bit budget and a bit used. The wet room shower flooded so we have asked for it to be fixed; the internet is appalling and signal is very poor and I have checked in different rooms. I

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel which is only 3 mins walk to the causeway bay mtr and walking distance to famous restaurants such as Under the bridge spicy crab and Ci Gei (池记)wonton noodles. The room was small just as most hotel in that area but it is good enough for a single or couple if you... More

The shape of the room they had given me was the oddest thing I could have ever imagined to be. The bathroom was almost bigger than the triangle room. pro: very great location. close to train station. con: the size of the room.

Was here fortunately for a 3 nights stay along with my family, booked a total of 3 rooms, Think the hotel missed out the request for a baby cot and then realize their basic superior room could not fit one and upgraded one of our rooms to the bigger one, much bigger one. Unfortunately i was not staying in the... More

Went to HKG for a short trip during the weekend to visit my family My take on the room: 1) location: good location! Its only mins away from causeway bay mtr exit (assuming you exit from the correct exit). There are many buses and mini buses that can link you to kowloon side and tourists attractions. 2) room: it was... More

Pros: 1.) Good location. Near causeway bay MTR station, easy access to bus and trams. Shopping malls, fast-food, 茶餐厅, 7-11 and plenty of mobile shops just right around ever corner around this hotel. 2.)麻雀虽小五脏俱全。This is best describe the hotel room. Compact but it has everything (large tv, dvd player, sound system, soft bed and they managed to squeeze in a... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
