Stayed for three nights. The location couldn't be better for us - next to Jordan station, loads of nice restaurants around, close to temple Street, easy access from the airport by bus. Room was small, but hey it's Hongkong. I would recommend it. Owners were friendly and helpful.

We got there around 9 am. There was no problem finding the place as it has an entrance from Nathan Road and the other from Pilkem so if you come from Jordan MTR it is very easy to spot. Mr Lee was there to greet us as Mrs Wong was on vacation. Though the check in time was 12nn, they... More

I stayed here for 5 nights which is really convenient for me, husband and my kids. The location is so great (closed to MTR, Bus station, Taxi). The rooms are very clean and everytime we back to hotel they did the cleaning and tidy up everything. WIFI signal is so strong here. The owners (husband and wife) are super friendly... More

The City Econo Guest House is a great place to stay, right on Nathan Road and just a short walk from Jordan MTR station. It's clean and comfortable with all the facilities you would reasonably need. It's not the Hilton but it doesn't cost Hilton prices, so if you're looking for a place to stay that's right in the centre... More

Good: Location Accommodating Owner Budget Friedly Bad: Cleanliness Room is okay but not so clean have hairs in the floor. But if youre on a budget and would want to stay to cleaner place than Chungking, this could be a bet. You get what you paid for. They do have: Hot and cold shower, bath gel, towel and card key... The City Econo guesthouse in Hong Kong is very well located and easy to find from the Jordan MTR stop. The owners are friendly and Speak a fair amount of English. We stayed three nights and for our first night we had a room with no window. We asked for a different room and got one with a window with... More

Stayed with City Econo during my trip to HK in March 2014. The manager of the apartment was really friendly and helpful with our queries and attended to our requests to their best abilities. We received help regarding our travel itinerary, and they readily recommended a day-trip for us to Lantau island (da yu shan)'s Giant Buddha. True enough, it... More

A friend recommended this place to me and after reading a few reviews about this guesthouse, I chose to stay at this guesthouse. Finding this place is not hard and it is located close to shopping areas and places to eat. Very close to Nathan Street. The guesthouse is also very close to Jordan MTR station, taxi stand and bus... Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighborhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighborhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighborhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
