We stayed 4 nights in this place, and it was an overall pleasant experience. Contrasting to the reviews read about chunking mansion about the long wait of lift or annoying salesperson below our hostel, we did not experience much of it. Krish, the point of contact for our stay was nice and gave us a 3 bed room w/oextra charge,... More

Location is really nice, mtr station is really close and the airport bus stop is maybe 50 meters from here. Also the manager, Bruno I assume? Is so sweet and friendly. Walls are paper thin and there is some noise coming from the mansion hallway, but if you're a heavy sleeper like I am, it doesn't bother. The room itself... More

I met Bruno at Merryland and he informed me that he had a newly reconditioned room in a nearby ""mansion". I checked it out and it was great! There was no surcharge for the new room. Bruno was very helpful and I extended my stay for a week. Bruno was not in residence at the nearby quarters but his colleague... More

Went here ilast year and at that time Merryland just had their second place in building not too far from Mirador Mansion (idk whether the new place is still under Merryland name). the new place is really clean and neat although space is not big but it still comfortable, especially the bathroom space. But what's really is Bruno, the helpful... More

the room is quite good if you compare with the price, quite and comfortable. the wifi running well and fast but be careful at lobby below, people below sometimes push you to buy their stuffs, do not pay attention if you don't wanna buy.

At first, I really wasn't sure if there was an available room for me when I arrived last March since I didn't make any reservations but guess what? Not only was there a vacancy but the available room I got was the same room I had during my previous stay in 2011. Haha.. So funny. That room really was for... More

I know it's a bit late but this place really deserves a good review. We stayed at MerryLand throughout our 5-day stay in HK last October 2013. The guest manager Bruno was very accommodating, from my booking inquiries until we arrive and left HK. He even helped us get discounted tickets to HK attractions. We took the room for 5... More

Stayed for 2 weeks in this guesthouse. Rooms are small and basic but very clean and safe. Mr.Bruno, the guest manager, was the reason I chose to stay in this hotel. Very accommodating, free wifi, good air conditioning , water heater, and above all prime location for transport links around the islands. I will surely stay again if ever in... More

Staying at Merryland Guesthouse was a pleasant experience! Occupied the room for 4 nights and always feel safe. It was my first solo trip, so I kinda worry about place to stay. I got an excellent recommendation from my high school friend and not a miscast! First, the staff is super friendly and helpful. I got neat room, which cleaned... More
