The location was so convenient! We stayed 3 days and 2 nights there, it was very easy for us to access lautau peak and trails nearby. The owner and all staff there are very nice, and the cake baked by the owner was so delicious!! 1st night: Deluxe Room was very tidy, neat and cosy. And the balcony was super... More

My family stayed for one night. We arrived early evening with three young children and we had to wait for her to finish something off when she had other staff who could have taken over and she wanted to sort out paperwork first instead of taking us to the room where we could settle the children. We then had to... More

Thank you for trying out our hospitality service and giving your feedback! As the host and manager of a guest house, it’s undeniably my duty to check in the guests other than leaving the task to my housekeeper, café assistant or cleaning lady. Saturday afternoon is a busy time in our café. Your patience is very much appreciated! As a... More

She is very politically incorrect. She asks you what country you come from and if she does not have a clue about this country she says something like: "I know. They have a simple life" and then gives you a bored annoyed look. Very insensitive.

I have to start off by saying that I wanted to be as fair as possible in my assessment of this place, as a B & B, that has earned the prize of excellence from TripAdvisor, based on many good past comments from travellers. If my husband and I had occupied in another regular room, instead of this Lotus Room,... More

Thank you for the comments! We are under the impression that our B&B has been evaluated in a way heavily influenced by the reviewers’ conventional hotel experience. We will strive to bring our inter-personal skills to a higher level so as to reduce misperception of homelike “minsu” service and regular hotel hospitality. Two examples to illustrate the aforesaid: 1. A... More

We do see this village by the shore or on a sea quite often, but this is well managed. Room was neat and nicely arranged. Try to take a walk in the morning while the sun rises behind the hill, which is just a few steps away from this hostel. Everything was good. If I were to given a slight... More

I really enjoyed my stay here. Stayed for 4 nights. Tai O is easy to use as a base to explore Lantau, big Buddha is only 15min by bus and Mui Wo about 45min. Both a great day trip. My room was beautifully decorated, immaculate. Veronika is very friendly and accommodating.

My family and I stayed at the B&B for a night and I did not really enjoy the stay. I did my research before making a reservation at the hostel on Trip Advisor and found many positive reviews. However, my experience was similar to the “disappointment” one. We are local Hong Kong visitors, which made our experience at the hostel... More

We love nature, so even during our trip to Hong Kong we managed to find placed where we could do some trekking. One of the places that we wanted to conquer was Lantau Peak, and that's how we discovered Tai O village where we made our base. Tai O is charming fishing village, and staying in Escape Elastique make a... More

We stayed at Espace for 2 nights after a week in Hong Kong. The B&B was very easy to find from the bus station where we caught the number 11 bus to Tai O from Tung Chung. Veronica, the host warmly welcomed us and showed us to our room, we booked the deluxe suite for the first night and the... More

Tai o is kind of an hour ride from the airport. But after staying there I realized that a much cheaper option would have been hiring the public transport which will drop you at the place at the half the fare that will go into the taxi. Tai o is a fishing village and maybe that’s why the place comes... More
