Hotel is right in the heart of Mong Kok and only a short distance from the main strip and MTR stop, plus a handy 7/11 less than 100metres away. There is a lot of prostitution very close to the hotel itself - with the nearby junction having workers on both sides and a row of girls (and pimps) outside that... More

ok, so its not in the most pretty area, but, its clean, has helpful and polite staff, and is very close to the mtr and markets. for the price, it represents great value for money, located in Mongkok, the area does have a lot of industrious nearby streets, the rooms are small and can be a little noisy at times,... I had an overnight in Hong Kong and wanted something cheap and nice. This hotel did the trick. It is a small walk from the subway stop but is fairly well located in Kowloon. Plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. The room was small but I absolutely loved it. Very clean. Very comfortable bed. Had everything I needed... More

Simple advice- just stay elsewhere. Stayed in Room 102. Room stank of cigarette smoke. Bathroom not that clean and smelt of urine. Noisy and not worth the money. Also bare in mind that Taxis won't drive from this area to Hong Kong Island.

I stayed at the single room which is priced reasonably (Avg.price per day is SGD120). Clean and modern room but the rooms is really small. Disadvantage: is that the walls are very very thin so you can hear what's happening at the corridor, and next door. Advantage: Location is at Mongkok, 10 mins walk to langham shopping centre, you can... More

Stayed here during my first trip to Hong Kong. A little bit farther away from subway. But you could always get on the public bus. There isn't much anything to do around the hotel since they are situated in an alley away from the main road. But there are few nice restaurants close by. The room size is small which... More

The location was in a shady area. Got directions to the hotel from a pimp. The beds felt like it was made out of wooden planks and covered with bedsheets. Very small, after you put your luggage, you dont have any space to walk around. Leaking cups which caused puddles in the toilet. Absolutely no sound-proofing. I could hear the... More

The location is fantastic, within 5 mins walk from Mongkok MTR station and laundromat right next door, multiple 7-11 around each corner, plenty of food options and Langham Place is my new fave mall. We have no problem with wifi connection in our room. The room size is adequate for HK, I've stayed in smaller rooms before. We stayed in... More

Staying in Mong Kok

Neighborhood Profile
Mong Kok
It’s one of the highest density districts in the world, so come to Mong Kok prepared for action. Home to every market, restaurant and shopping arcade imaginable, Mong Kok is the one-stop shop to satisfy all your shopping needs. Dust off your finest negotiation skills and dive into the bartering frenzy. Similar retailers will conveniently congregate in the same area forming easy to remember references such as “flower street” and “sneakers street.” Here you will also find various local delicacies being served at street snack shops or hole-in-the-wall restaurants. One reliable rule of thumb: the smaller the place, the better the food.
