Two of us stayed here for two nights. Yes, it's small (like most HK hotels) but my boyfriend is 6ft 4' and had no complaints :) the staff don't speak English but are incredibly lovely. They also have free wifi included (big bonus), hot showers, and a fantastic location!

We booked a double room with ensuite for 6 nights in HK. By HK standards it's a cheaper room than most. The room was almost entirely taken up by the bed, and we were both taller than the room was long, which made sleep tricky! Also, the toilet was located almost directly below the shower head which is convenient if... More

In HK standard, the room we got was not too small - at least we've got some space to put our luggage and walk around. The bathroom is ensuite and both the bathroom and the room itself have windows (I can't say for all rooms but make a request when you book if that's important for you). The hostel itself... More

1st time staying at this place.. had a rather hard time looking for the place as it is located within a building. But the good thing is the place is easily located and can be conveniently reach via airport bus. also located near MTR station, just across the street

Small room, but small price as well for HK... Perfect for an overnight. Everything you need is there. Clean and in good location at the heart of the city. 200 characters is too much to describe, there's nothing much needed. Simple...

We booked room with one single and one double bed. Finally, from three of us, only two came for stay. First nice surprise was that we get a room with two double beds. The room was more spacious than in other cases, amenities were generally better also. Two different shampoos and two different shower gels were there along with regular... More

I visited Hong Kong few times before and this location was the best - few steps from metro station, just behind the corner Airport bus stop for line A22. I appreciated the cleanness of the rooms ( I stayed there twice within 2 weeks). They were small, but equipped with necessary items including toiletries, cattle and glasses, A/C and fan.... More

A kind warning to those travellers would like to stay in Hang Ho Hostel, I am highly advising not to. They have very poor service which I never seen before. Our checkout time is at 12pm, just before 10 minutes we go off, the nasty lady knocked and ask us to get off in very bad tone. If she is... More

The room is bearable. Toilet have a weird smell though it looks clean. Toilet have water pending problem and water leaks into the room. I think I should get better room at other hostel or guesthouse. The service sucks. The staff chased us to leave the room although there is still 10 mins to the check out time. She chased... More

This hotel was recommended by forumer of a famous forum in Malaysia. As it is the cheapest option we have and this hotel has a great rating, we decided to give it a try. It is a typical small hotel that you will usually find in Hong Kong, but it is very cozy, like your house. Due to the functional... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighborhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighborhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighborhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
